It was Rutgers, not UConn. And he
did lose his job at WFAN in New York and on MSNBC. He later got picked up by WABC and Fox Business, and from what I understand he won a handsome settlement with WFAN over his termination.
His legal action was based on very specific language in his contract that called for him to be abrasive and offensive on the air. Seriously. LOL.
