Trying to get transcript. Basically Bill Nelson said he is extremely familiar with guns and he himself is a hunter. But nobody needs an "AUTOMATIC" weapon like the AR-15 used because it's not for hunting, it's for killing people.
Frankly, this is amazing how ignorant these elected officials are. He wants to pass Diane Feinsteins law to prevent people on the terrorist watch list to be able to get weapons. I can just imagine the corrupt government officials who put people on this list. If we abuse FISA warrants we can abuse this list too for political purposes.
Nelson is surely one of the members of Congress dipping into the pharmacy supply of dementia meds.
How did this kid get the weapon? Let’s start right there.
There were several warnings to the FBI about this guy... could it be they were to distracted trying to bring down a president to take action?
The perp was a Democrat—One of Nelson’s own.
Pre-emptive hanging of Democrats, starting with Nelson, is the only way to deal with this situation and prevent future occurences.
I heard that he went to a store and bought it and passed a background check. Apparently the school officials who expelled him for being a threat to the student body failed to mention this to anyone.
Scary that he gets to vote on important stuff.

The amazing thing is that this guy keeps getting elected. He campaigns with his cracker twang and the gullibles think he’s just like them. Then he goes back to the swamp and votes against the interests of the people who elected him. He’s the Joe Manchin of the sunshine state.

This is the result (fear of law suits) also former employers will not give a negative rating on a shi* head former employee. Why did the FBI do nothing when they knew is the important fact.
He’s also wrong that “AR style” rifles aren’t used for hunting. Ohio just legalized straight walled cartridges for deer hunting 3 years ago. The .450 bushmaster is a straight walled cartridge. My son didn’t know this until recently. He has now stopped harassing me to get him a lever action 45-70.

He is not in the least bit ignorant. He most assuredly knows the difference between automatic and semiautomatic. He's just pushing a lie to demonize the weapon rather than the shooter (who already broke several gun control laws, but hey facts don't matter)
Also he is fully aware that the 2nd amend is NOT about hunting, but he's worried because of the fact that it really is to protect the populace against people just like him, and he's taking advantage of the bone deep ignorance of the voting population and millennials (most of whom have to take off their shoes to count to 20 thanks to the new math they wee taught in skool) vis a vie the 2nd amend.
Never assume that Democrats are misguided or ignorant - they know full well what they're doing and they are just plain evil.

Fact is, their own rules failed; “see something, say something”? Everyone seemed to know about this nutcase, including the FBI, the school, the teachers, the local authorities...yet, he wasn’t monitored close enough to prevent 17 killings.
Sounds more like failure of the system, and not guns.
There are millions of gun owners, and probably billions of guns in the USA, yet only a small minority of the guns are used in this manner...for mass murder.
Someone, years ago, got tired to spending money on, and babysitting mental patients and decided to just shut down most of the institutions and put them on the street.
Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans, Baltimore...and the list of cities with rampant gun murders goes on, and the libs ignore it. We do SEE Something, we DO SAY something, but the dems only see a waiting reason to demagogue guns and the second amendment.
In reality, the 2nd Amendment was put into place to precisely prevent these events, if used correctly.
But, males have become so wussified and young people are so wrapped in their drug-laden socialist dreams, their idea is to disarm everyone.
They are tools, being used by those who want America Gun Free, because once our guns are gone, there’s no stopping them.

The 2nd Amendment was never intended for hunting. It was a recognition that we, as human beings, had the right to defend ourselves from enemies without and within, and that government should in no way, shape, or form, be able to disarm a free people.
Well the only practical firearms knowledge this guy likely needs is knowing that he and his Dem buddies in DC and Hollywood have their armed bodyguards.
I agree, what happened to It takes a village? The problem with the village is that there is no individual accountability.
