The "severed head" is the "Mandylion” or the "Veronica", the body is Jesus lying in the tomb, with the two angel on either side. Mary is seen above Him. . . your interpretation could not be further off the mark.

Look, the important issue here is not the “artwork” but the fact that Anderson Cooper is the son of a Vanderbilt - another overpriveleged whiny mouth in the press who got his job because of obvious connections rather than guts, hard work and talent.

People in her crowd were always collecting the newest, trendy art, and decorating in the latest fads - just as people in equivalent lifestyles are doing today.
