People have a tendency to believe in things, whether they are true or not.
The quest for ‘immortality’ has been going on for (at least) THOUSANDS of YEARS.
If you have billions to throw at a chance of immortality, would you do it ?
I think you also might be ignoring another possible conclusion, and that is that IF NOT for some kind of regenerative ‘miracle’, these people you mentioned might have been dead years ago.
How did DICK CLARK stay so young looking ?
I’m already immortal. So are you. I would have no interest in a false immortality grounded in an illusory material world.
Many people live to be the age that Dick Clark did and older - in my family, living to one’s early 80s and even into the 90s is not remarkable, even with health issues. (In fact, it’s been said that one of the best ways to live a long life is to develop a chronic health problem and take good care of it.)
Did you ever see him up close. It was plastic surgery and make up.I met him a few times. He was always ready for a picture or video.
There’s some very good advice in this article; most of staying young is mental:
In my opinion, the people on a quest for immortality are Godless and afraid of death.
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Theres no fear of leaving this planet at any time.
To have a belief that immortality is possible, one must necessarily agree with Darwinian evolution.
