Not unless they are going to go for major treason charges and have very damning proof. You do not put a former US President in prison unless you can prove he was put in to destroy the USA. we are talking riots and NG needing to be called out. Disruption of the economy and on and on. You are basically going to have to prove he is the Manchurian candidate before you tackle him. If they could get away with not touching him, just containing him they would. I would have to be major to go after him.
Early in the campaign, now-President Trump attempted a discussion of "natural born citizen" which started at the level of knowledge of a top-tier Constitutional Law professor. It went right over the talking heads and the Oprah-Beyonce crowd. This is why the Dems talk in stilted sound bytes; propaganda at the intellectual level their base can follow, internalize, and mindlessly regurgitate by instinct while raising their eyebrows.
