Scott Baio wasted no time in disputing accusations from actress Nicole Eggert, who said he repeatedly molested her between the ages of 14 and 17. Baio took to Twitter saying her claims are 100% lies before going to Facebook Live in an effort to prove the allegations were false.
Eggert brought the accusations to Twitter after she commented on a tweet referring to Baios support of Donald Trump: Ask [Scott Baio] what happened in his garage at his house when I was a minor. Creep. This started a series of tweets where she claims she was molested by him from ages 14 to 17 and went into details about the assaults. The two starred together on the 80s sitcom Charles in Charge.
In a 16-minute-plus video, Baio sits at a desk as if it were a formal press conference going through a stack of documents (which are all posted on social media in their entirety) to prove Eggert wrong. The reason Im doing Facebook Live is because no one can edit me, he said. This is the truth. His wife, Renee, can be heard off camera giving him direction on his defense and providing commentary of her own.
Baio says that when Eggerts first claims against him came up, she was promoting her reality shows but he kept his mouth shut because they eventually go away. Baio said that she just wont let them go.
The accusations came up again in 2017. He presented to two letters that he sent to Eggert and fellow Charles in Charge co-star Alexander Polinksy when they decided to team up against him. He told them to go to the police if they have legitimate claims, but they chose not to and instead went to social media where Baio says, People like me get beat up.
In the video, he says that Eggert was his best friend and all of a sudden he is a bogeyman. He concludes, The problem with almost all he said-she said cases is theyre he said-she said. Now, go prove it or disprove it.the real problem with this is people with legitimate claims arent taken seriously and thats too bad.
Why do you suppose she felt like he was the guy for the job? Maybe because there had been some long-standing hanky panky going on. Back then she probably felt good about it.

From what I gathered from the article in post #4, she had flirted with him and probably felt safe with him.
Safe that he wouldn’t run his mouth or make fun of her inexperience. Or do anything that would physically hurt her or make her do something she didn’t want to do.
Back in the day we had a guy I called the cherry picker.
It seemed like every girl that wanted to do away with their virginity hooked up with him first.
Years later I asked a couple of those girls what it was that made them choose him for their grand opening.
They said he was safe because he wouldn’t fall in love over sex, he kept his mouth shut and let them define the limits.
I didn’t tell them that I knew all about every one of them because my bud would come by the house, grin and tell me “Suzy G is good to go.”
I let them keep their fantasy.
Females do things for reasons that are alien to the males of the species.
Charles was in Charge of *ingering Nicole, allegedly.
Sounds like whatever happened was totally consensual, now she’s whining 25 years later.
Nicole was hot back then, but turns out she was nuts. Now she’s fat and nuts.
Is he claiming she was his “best friend’ when she was 14-17 and he was 25-28???
When the age of consent was 18, however.
Give me a break...
This attempt at My career is dead, buried and decomposed...LOOK AT ME! is so pathetic and transparent.
Nicole, you were very pretty and had a relatively long career on two hit shows. If you pi$$ed away all of your $$$, look in the (extra large) mirror to assign blame.
“When the age of consent was 18, however.”
She originally claimed she was 18 when she lost her virginity to Baio. Now she’s saying she was 17. She’s also now claiming he molested her from 14 to 17.
