Are you primarily interested in fiction?

Have you read his "fanfic" ending?
It is on his website and is, he assures us, NOT the way he will end the series but it is a hoot. And it actually would work.

"Pirate Alley" by Stephen Coonts.
Matt Bracken's novels.

One of my favorites. Leonard tells a great story without bringing in extra plots and a multitude of characters, the way so many contemporary crime writers do.

Don’t let your children read Atlas Shrugged, however. She extends her objectivist philosophy to personal relationships and thinks everyone should be selfish. This book ruined my life for 11 years.

By “his” I am assuming you refer to David Weber; and I assume that you mean his Safehold series?
No, I haven’t seen that. I assume that it is a story/plotline suggested by one of his fans, projecting the future of the Safehold human race’s eventual contact with the Gbaba.
I have thought that eventually, the Safeholdians would discover that they were just one of several “Operation Ark”s, some of which failed, and some of which succeeded.

I recommend:
1. "The Survivor", a Mitch Rapp novel written by Kyle Mills
2. "Domestic Enemies: The Reconquista" by Matthew Bracken
3. "Foreign Enemies and Traitors" by Matthew Bracken
4. "Something of Value" by Robert Ruark (I found the first chapter or two slow, but then it became exciting).
