In order to prove he doesn't have dementia, as alleged in a recent book, President Trump called a meeting with congressional leaders on Tuesday -- and requested that it be televised.

He then proceeded to completely sell out the base and actually added to his problems by appearing senile.
In a half-dozen exchanges -- which, again, he wanted televised -- Trump responded to remarks as if he had no clue what the person was saying. One senator would talk -- he'd agree. Someone else would say the exact opposite -- he'd agree with that, too.

My basic argument is that nothing has changed as far as I can see. Trump did some trolling and now I see a lot of panic over nothing. Here is what Trump tweeted out AFTER yesterday’s meeting:
“Thanks to all of the Republican and Democratic lawmakers for today’s very productive meeting on immigration reform. There was strong agreement to negotiate a bill that deals with border security, chain migration, lottery and DACA.”
Here is a tweet from this afternoon:
“The United States needs the security of the Wall on the Southern Border, which must be part of any DACA approval. The safety and security of our country is #1!”
How is what he said after the meeting any different from what he was saying before the meeting? Can you show anything President Trump has actually said or tweeted that shows his position has changed? I do not think you can. People can panic all they want but I have no plans to worry myself into a tizzy over nothing. BTW, I think Ann Coulter is nuttier than a squirrel turd most of the time but that does not have a lot to do with my view on this or anything else.

Really? Name one who could have won PA, MI, OH and WI. And if they were such great candidates, why did they fail miserably in the primaries?

You were a nutty never-Trumper in the primaries. I would have thought all the winning might have made you see the light, but clearly not. To equate the most nationalist president of the last century with globalist Jeb proves it. And you clearly can’t name one candidate who could have won those states so you change the question.

As far as I am concerned, never-trumpers are Hillary/Obama and Trudeau supporters.
And to go further, Trudeau supporters are the same as those who support Merkel. Which makes them even worse. If that is even possible.

Winning? What winning? He surrendered to Pelosi and Schumer on ACA, passed a tax cuts that was mostly for illegals and let the Dems control the agenda. The Dems never even believed they’d have such a good year.

It is what he said during the meeting that has people on edge.
I think he was gaslighting the Democrats, but using terms like “far-right” and “bill of love” and saying his positions are going to be whatever the people in the room decide and that he’d sign anything they send him caused some understandable concern from his supporters.
Time to smell the coffee and say it like it is. Enough of this nonsensical excuse about 3D chess and “baiting the Democrats” etc. Just watch the only intelligent show on FoxNews, “The Ingraham Angle” and get your brain rebooted. Time to end the Trump butt-kissing.
I actually snickered when I heard the clip of Trump reviewing his performance at the meeting on Rush Limbaugh today. The President is a master troll.
