Well, duh. Men have an incomplete set of chromosomes. That alone is a pretty hefty biological handicap.

Not at all. Men have the same autosomes as women (22), and that’s 95.6% of DNA. The remaining pair differences are almost entirely determinative of sexual morphology, and don’t have anything to do with disease resistance or any other survivability factors.
