Funding of terrorism is being part of a terrorist network. Obama aided part of a terrorist network, and doing it with hardcore drugs is one of the worst ways to fund terrorism, because addiction is worse than slavery.
You might want to read up on the Opium Wars. England forced China, quite literally at gunpoint, TWICE, to buy, and continue regularly buying, England's Opium supply. China suddenly develops a massive problem with a vast increase in opium addicts, and associated problems.
Supply often does create its own demand.
However, I agree with you that the premise that this current heroin issue is not likely due to terrorists.
Liberals often and conservatives sometimes look at actions and consequences as existing in a vacuum.
Kids make mistakes. When parents aren’t around kids often make many more mistakes. Now add easy access to heroin and fentanyl. What do you think is going to happen? It takes time to grow up, get perspective and become more conservative as well.
Easy for you to stand in judgment. I have an old friend, talented musician, brilliant guy really. Heroin tends to run in musical circles. He got addicted, and has gotten himself off it many times over the years but it always pulls him back in. He'll never be free of it, and it's not due to lack of will or character weakness. It's just that strong of an addiction. I have no doubt it'll eventually be what kills him and for that I mourn.
