Usually selling drugs is all about money. Drug dealers dont care who they hurt just as long as they have a strong cash flow. One would think the the heroin epidemic is a case in point.
Looking at the data I find that over the past 15 years the supply of heroin has almost doubled. Over the past 20 years the price of heroin has fallen more than 50%. I also notice that Hezbollah has become a major drug trafficker and that it uses its profits for weapons.
Now this is all bad enough but a thought occurred to me and that is what if flooding the market with cheap heroin isnt about just money but deliberately crippling and killing the youth of America? What if the goal is to disrupt American society in a fundamental way to render America a much weaker enemy?
I, for one dont believe in coincidences. The heroin epidemic may just be an act of terrorism on behalf of the Iranian government.
You learn something new everyday especially on FR.
They seem to offer a gateway out for those who entered via gateway drugs.
No Heroine is due to personal weakness and sin. It is a human failing of will over “feel good” brain deterioration and addiction. Just like marijuana. I have no sympathy for anyone hooking themselves on opiods. Unhook your self or die— Your choice and I really don’t care which decision one makes. Their business. I just dont want to pay for their choice.
Obozo wanted to block federal enforcement of our narcotics laws to please the ayatollahs. Some folks want to block the marijuana laws now to please the dope heads. Same obstruction of Federal laws.
Was it terrorism in the 60’s?
If it was a concerted effort on behalf of a foreign entity, then yes.
Liberals often and conservatives sometimes look at actions and consequences as existing in a vacuum.
Kids make mistakes. When parents arent around kids often make many more mistakes. Now add easy access to heroin and fentanyl. What do you think is going to happen? It takes time to grow up, get perspective and become more conservative as well.
many kids get marijuana from their criminal parents until those children are removed from that danger. It is sad but true.
Easy for you to stand in judgment. I have an old friend, talented musician, brilliant guy really. Heroin tends to run in musical circles. He got addicted, and has gotten himself off it many times over the years but it always pulls him back in. He'll never be free of it, and it's not due to lack of will or character weakness. It's just that strong of an addiction. I have no doubt it'll eventually be what kills him and for that I mourn.
He just needs to stop. It remind me of the guy that goes to the Doctor and tells HIM that “my arm hurts when I go like this.” The Doctor says “ Don’t go like that “ and bills him $100.
Again, easy for you to stand in judgment. You don’t have a clue.
Was what the British Did to the Chinese Terrroism by supporting opium dens thus harming their society?
If the camel truckers figure out how productive Swat hoaxes are at killing incident Americans they may alter their game plan.
Just quit. Strop doing what you don’t want to do to yourself. Don’t blame terrorists and don’t blame me. suck it up and quit!!
Is that how you beat your heroin addiction, raiderboy?
How else? Tell us.
I’ve been telling you, but you keep parroting your “just quit” mantra, so I can only assume you’ve beaten your heroin addiction cold turkey in that manner.
It would be sort of mindless and stupid of you to be speaking so forcefully and definitively if you really have no clue what you’re talking about, so I’m making the most charitable assumption of your motivations, here.
I don’t know about judgment....I don’t care what drugs people use. It is possible to use opiods for their it ended purpose. The problem stems from those who use them for pleasure or to soothe addiction.
At some point judgment must come into the equation. Many people who have children who are addicted end up disowning them. These children will lie steal cheat and make everyone’s life around them a living hell. Is it improper to “judge them” and kick them out of your house? I think not.
There is no solution to the majority of addicts who prey upon society to feed their habit.
Why is this sort of “judgment” bad? If an addict takes a fatal dose of heroin, is society obligated to save their life, knowing they will prey upon the vulnerable to get what they want without remorse?
Has “absence of judgment” ever cured an addict?
At some point you have to say “enough”.
Give us a clue.
You don’t beat it, even when you get yourself clean there’s a very powerful craving that’s always there. That’s the “clue” that you lack, unless that is, you’ve somehow managed to just quit as you repeatedly have said. Guess you were just talking out yer butt and have no clue.
