According to post (I think 194, it's the LARGE SCREENSHOT), the alphanumeric stuff actually is military codes: tho', to be fair, the imgur link supplied in that screenshot didn't work for me, so it's either wrong or the link had died.
Current best guesstimate is that this is related to the launch of Elon Musk's SpaceX rocket tonight, which launched during its viable 2-hour launch window, rather surprisingly because of the inclement weather at the launch site.
Some excitable people think it's EMP (I doubt that since the Norks don't HAVE that much electrified, also since the form of EMP I personally am most familiar with is nuclear, and Q's posts said "non-nuclear" -- but, again, to be fair, others on FR have hinted at non-nuclear EMP devices)...my personal guess is that it is a "rods from God" system. The SpaceX news releases all said "low earth orbit" but didn't specify a height: how many miles up does a tungsten rod have to be, what with terminal velocity and all, before its Kinetic Energy on impact, becomes *truly* bodacious?

You two are aware of what DEFCON 1 is, correct? I’m guessing that the announcement is only a metaphor for something less serious (like politics), but we’ll see. On “15, 10,...,” etc., that’s only timing in minutes in regards to time stamps on messages. Pretty near sure of that.
