My dad actually bought a major set when I was 2. He always said he bought them for himself. I could use them qhen I was able. His 4-6-4 Hudson 773 with tender still sits on my fireplace mantle.

I still have my train set in original box.

My brother and I received a complete Lionel Train set in 1954, including a cattle loader that vibrated the cows up a ramp and into the cattle car. My mother gave it away before a family move in the 60s.......My brother and I were upset when we found out a few years later : (

My grandfather got this one the year I was born. I still have it. All original parts and it still works great!
