2. GI Joe - Got one a few years later
3. Operation-Older sister had it
4. Battleship-Big brother-I got the same one on ebay a few years back that my kids play today.
5. Hot Wheels-Big brother
6. ‘68 Hot Rods - brother had some
7. ‘69 Chemistry Set - Big brother again
8. ‘70 Lite Brite - Yes. Godparents got it for me.
9. ‘71 Space Hoppers - I remember them looking different, simple loop on top. Small kiddie version with horse head.
10. ‘72 Uno - We were a Pinochle family. Though I did get Rook, Mille Bornes, and Flinch. (Big on Parker Brothers)
11. ‘73 Walkie Talkies - Big brother had ‘em. Worked poorly.
12. ‘74 Tonka Toy - Yes, I had one. Yellow bulldozer.
13. ‘75 Pet Rock - No, but I laughed at the kid who got one. More a novelty than a kids’ toy.
14. Connect Four — Yes. Played it with friends and siblings.

Erector Set. Probably millions of stray pieces of those in nooks and crannies in half the old houses in America.

The most popular flavor goop ran out first, then the least. Then, we resorted to licking the containers.
You can find a complete set in the original boxes on the Internet. I think that you can even buy the goop (or maybe there is a recipe for making your own). Of course, a complete set in the box would be a toy collector’s item.
And the goop, now 40-50 years old is probably not any good.

I was born in 1960. We played with sticks and stones. And we were damned happy to get them.
