What did you do when you retired?
Getting close to the point that I may be able to retire.
Thinking about reselling,yard sales,goodwills,estates sales.
Always enjoyed junking,antiquing.
Gotta stay busy.
I will be retiring next fall. Cant wait, Im 63 & been working since I was 16. I would plan on traveling with my husband but hes a veterinarian and not planning on retiring soon so I will do a little traveling with my kids & grandkids when I feel like it. I love working in the yard & will be having a below-ground greenhouse built in my back yard soon so I can garden year-round & not worry with weeding and heat. Also, have always wanted to hike the areas of my familys ranch that are not accessible by pickup and interested in exploring a huge void we recently discovered there to see if its a cave. Love the ranch.
I know I used to trade it
Its just far to ubiquitous to demand decent prices, but people love it for asthetic and nostalgic reasons
:)
Volunteer work.
I’m retiring at the end of this school year. I’d like to learn to cook like the rednecks on BBQ Pit Boys, maybe learn to fish, supplement pension with sub teaching, and study the Word.
BBQ pit boys are having fun LOL
I’m 66 and have always loved stuff with a history. The generations behind me don’t. That’s when I started losing interest. If there’s no one to leave it to, what’s the use?
Over the years we’ve cleaned the place out three or four times so there’s not much left.
Just watched
“Band of Brothers”
Got a hankerin
For a Luger!
WWII stuff is always collectable.
THAT conversion sounds cool.
Which reminds me, a good ol gal hooked me up with an onion gravy smothered poke chop beans and cornbread today for $3
Lugers are VERY Collectable

You should read the Bible.
I have read the Bible.
Didn't that discourage you from drinking?
No. Killed my appetite for reading.;)
Then I finally got tired of computer work and shifted my attention to photography. Having a blast at it.
‘If you have a creative bone, you will always be busy.’
Absolutely true.
You should be a writer.
Look, work is a blessing from God. It was given before the Fall and Proverbs tells us there is a curse to idleness. Yet, there may come a time when God says “Stop. Leave this job.”
May get a Go Pro,do some YouTube stuff,The adventures of the El Camino picker;)
“a missionary for four years.” That is not a job?
