Hillary Clinton has been spotted still wearing her surgical boot two months after she fell down some stairs in her heels and broke her toe.
The former Secretary of State was in Vancouver as part of her global book tour to promote her election memoir What Happened.
Clinton strode out onto the stage, in a striking monochrome leather ensemble. But what was most noticeable was the bulky post-op shoe on her right foot - which she has been wearing since she took a tumble and broke her toe in October.
The 70-year-old had been on the British leg of her book tour, when she was forced to cancel several TV and radio appearances after the injury.
Recalling her tumble, she said: 'I was running down the stairs in heels with a cup of coffee in hand, I was talking over my shoulder and my heel caught and I fell backwards.
'I tried to get up and it really hurt. I've broken my toe. I've received excellent care from your excellent health service.'
Generally, toe fractures will take between four and six weeks to heal.
But almost two months to the day that Clinton took her tumble, and she still appears to be having trouble with her foot.

What happened to her ruby slippers?
Gangrene.
I have really bad feet. Podiatrist says it’s from working cocktails and bartending so many years. Because of this I have had numerous foot surgeries, some of them pretty bad. I’ve never worn a shoe like hers for any longer than 2 weeks for any of them. She’s just full of crapola.
Stairs are an easy scapegoat and can't testify against her lies. However, they have delivered more justice on this woman than the entire US legal profession.
Haha!
I have been watching the Clintons since they oiled their way out of Arkansas and entered the WH. I have always been fascinated by the fact that they will lie, even when they don't need to. It is as if lying is their go-to position for everything that happens to them.
There is no reason for her to lie about how she broke her toe. But, she does it anyway. Why? Both Clintons seem programmed to lie about everything.
Gout.
Running in heels? Really? Seriously? Running? In heels? Hillary? Really?
The old cow can barely walk on flat ground......and she was running, in heels? Really?
You know what exacerbates gout?
Booze.
Thus I think we have our answer.
“in a striking monochrome leather ensemble
The leather looking material was just her skin.
“Ive broken both little toes at some time or another by running into something while barefoot and you merely tape it to the next toe and carry on! Thats AFTER youve finished screaming!”
And cursing. True that. I broke a big toe years ago via a turbo stub. It still hurts sometimes. I’d only wish that on people like Hillary.
Probably re-injured it falling down shit faced.
“Same designer probably dresses them. Meow.”
Raoul of Bayonne?
That’s the same kind of boot my wife wore months ago while healing from a stress fracture in her foot. She finally had to have a plate screwed to the bones when it didn’t heal on its own.
Of course if Hill won we’d have all been screwed.
Since she is lying and we do not know what actually happened, we cannot say that there was 'no reason to lie'.
Your comments are indeed valid, but I am more suspicious. Obviously my scenario was intended to be a joke, but the underlying premise was: She is hiding something.
“Falls are frequent with Parkinsons disease.”
Maybe next time she will split her coconut.
I was running down the stairs in heels with a cup of coffee in hand, I was talking over my shoulder and my heel caught and I fell backwards
Give her some scissors to run with.
I think she is growing older and weaker and cant kick the teeth in of employees being held on the ground for her like she used to without sustaining hairline fractures.
It’s a result of her foot in mouth disease.......
