Don't give up just yet..we are talking less than 10k votes...and the Alabama SOS is big on voter fraud....especially on people who change affiliation after voting in primaries...don't give up yet....tomorrow is another day
The people won in 2016. It awakened the BIG monster. Understand, I’d do anything to stop what’s being done to this country and I’m better off than I’ve ever been and have nothing but good to look forward to .... Personally. And I have no one to leave this country to. But, like I said, I’d still he willing to give my life for my country. But I don’t intend to die on that hill alone. And it’s going to take something much worse than a stolen senatorial election to get the people in the streets. If it gets bad enough, maybe, the people will rise up. But this country is not going to be saved through elections.
even more suspect
And yet Doug Jones got about 85% of Hillary Clinton’s vote total. See my point?
Actually it’s Sharron.
My thought exactly.
How many districts had more votes than registered voters?
NOTHING concerning the federal is to be trusted.
That is not true. Staying home during the elections does NOT give you power. That is what gave us Obama.
The problem is the candidates. A good candidate will win. Look at President Trump.
You asking our good folks at FR to stay away from the elections does not sound to me like you are here to do good. People staying away from the polls has hurt only ourselves. We need to turn out for PRIMARIES, volunteer to bus people to the polls, talk to everyone we can, work up crowds for OUR CANDIDATES of choice. We need to start finding and recruiting candidates. We need to be far more involved along with our Praying.
I bet Mc Turtle is grinning from ear to ear today, being so proud of his swamp.
You keep doing the same thing. You’ll keep getting the same results.
I remember an old friend from the 70s who used to say “I don’t vote. It just encourages the crooked sons-a-bitches”. Looking back over the years he’s been proven right.
You say get better candidates. If a third party had been started in 2008 they would be unstoppable today. Those in power just want to stay in power and they’ll do whatever they have to do to keep it. So far their power hasn’t been threatened. They’re not afraid of Trump or the 70 million who voted for him.
The deep state, what I’ve been calling the shadow government for decades, is now in the process of consolidating their power even more. Their plan is for the Dems to take control of both houses of congress. Last night was their first shot. Once they do that they’ll get rid of Trump.
Even Bannon says his plan will take 20 years. Do you believe in 20 years it’ll be easier? Bannon should start a third party. Can you imagine the power two real conservatives would have in the senate if there were 49 democrats and 49 republicans? Remember, they just want to stay in power. Both sides would be offering everything to get those two votes.
The same with the speaker. You won’t get a good one until you have a handful of Representatives who don’t owe allegiance to and don’t need money from either party.
I was thrilled when Trump won. But the swamp is too deep. One man can’t drain it. Especially when we the people keep sending his enemies to DC.
We all loved McCain. We all loved Romney. We all loved Sessions. We now hate them. Who is replacing Sessions? Who will replace McCain? It will be someone we’ll all be excited about then he’ll disappoint us. And Romney will replace Hatch who has been there for decades. Romney would have disappeared from politics and McCain would have way less power if we hadn’t given them the Republican nomination.
People say “A third party will just help democrats.”. How’s the current system working out?
We keep doing the same thing and we’ll keep getting the same results. Always have. Always will. I say desert them all. That’s what I’m going to do. And that includes Fox news and Hannity who slammed Jones just like McConnell and Rachel Maddow. And I will live my final few years in ignorance and peace. It’s my choice.
Good luck to you. You are a true patriot.
Trump said that in the primary between Strange and Moore. People should have listened.
Sorry for the late reply. I only log on at home. But also read daily at work whenever possible too.
I understand what you are saying about wanting to step away from the elections when they don’t put forth people you want to support. But abandoning elections is what got us into this mess to begin with.
We must vote and hold everyone, repeat EVERYONE accountable. Expose them, hold their feet to the fire. Be actively engaged in whatever we can. Any action to do this, big or small, is extremely important to a FREE and JUST Country.
I knew I didn’t like McCain. But I did vote for him because of Obama (and PALIN). I figured it would be easier to keep them accountable. And I still feel that way. I was fooled with Romney. I bought into that ‘nice guy’ BS. But still, it would have been easier to hold him accountable than who we got.
We need to put forth better candidates for sure. But if your choices are not there, we still need to vote. I wanted Moore to win - BIGLY. I feel he got a very bum rap. No, I do not believe he did anything to keep him from holding that office. And look at the ones who is in Congress. I believe he would have gave us far better chances of a better America than Jones.
We need to continue to Vote. We MUST vote. Voter turnout is paramount. That is why the enemy ties to discourage us. We need to do what they do. Take people to the polls. Go out an talk to people. Get ENGAGED. And if unable to get out into the community, our Keyboards are INVAULABLE. We can reach so many people, far more people even, right where we are!!!! Just have to get creative.
