Hugh Hewitt is predicting that Democrat Doug Jones will defeat Roy Moore tomorrow. I used to listen to Hewitt's radio program on a regular basis but he's gotten increasingly pretentious and he's part of the never Trump crowd. He's citing the apparent lack of Roy Moore signs in Alabama signs but isn't acknowledging that Jones is getting more financial support from the Democrat party. Jones is supported by the media while they attack Moore 24/7. Looking forward to Hewitt being proven wrong again. He said Trump should have dropped out of the race in 2016 because he couldn't win.
Hewitt predicted a Trump loss also, LOL, LOL, LOL !!!!
As I said elsewhere, either Hugh has insider knowledge about massive fraud that is about to occur... or he’s spent so much time inside the beltway and with the GOPe/Never Trumper’s that his mind has fully rotted.
It is beyond clear the people of Alabama have determined they believe these allegations are fabricated, which is not hard to believe given how much outside money and energy has been spent trying to destroy Moore from the start.
The GOPe spent $30 Million!!!! to take him out in the primary, and lord knows how much other money has been spent during and since by outside groups to try to take Moore out.
Moore will wind handily, unless some sort of video evidence surfaces by tomorrow, that supports the allegations... Or there is some sort of massive fraud.
The GOPe will attempt to destroy him once he’s seated as well....
Hewitt knows NOTHING about Alabama politics if he believes this....
You can drive through Alabama with no election anywhere in sight and find homes with Moore Supporting signs in their yards for the past decade for the various causes and battles he’s fought....
Hewitt has spent too much time inside the beltway.... and among the GOPe...
Moore is the biggest thing in Alabama Politics there is.. has been for well over a decade... I visit my family down there and no matter what year it is there are signs supporting Moore for one cause or another he’s fighting.....
This race was OVER the minute he announced... The thing about Moore is, every time the establishment, swamp take him out.. he comes back stronger and bigger... The establishment better watch out, they try to unseat him after he wins this race, the next step would be the Presidency for him...... (not saying he could do it, but the pattern has been, they kick him out because he won’t tow their line, he comes back and wins a higher office.)
Hugh is a POMPOUS BORE!!! His show is AWFUL and NOT INTERESTING!! He repeats everything 15 times...UGH!
Hugh hasn’t been conservative since he went on the MSNBC Payroll!
How Salem Radio keep Hugh is beyond me.

Why would you listen to Hugh Hewitt? I’ve peeled crap off the bottom of my shoe with more spine in it than Hugh.
F HUGH!
I don't know... Bill Kristol might give him a run for his money.
None of those people were ever any good. They were always just as bad as they are now.
Medved used to do and probably still does history tapes which are excellent on his holiday days off.
Hugh who, wasn’t he relevant once?
And she was outspent by the same ratio Moore is being outspent.
And the Republican turnout was bigger then that of the Democrats, that is why she won!
It was a seven point victory. Pompeo won 61% to 30% in 2016. Pompeo received 167,000 votes and the Dem 81,000. In the special election, Estes won with 63,505 votes to 55,310 for Thompson.
Yes, turnout for a special election is much less than in a regular election and especially in a Presidential year. However, the Dem turnout was much higher proportionately in the special election. Dem voters were more motivated to show up at the polls. Estes received over 100,000 fewer votes compared to Thompson who received 26,000 fewer votes.
I hope Moore wins, but don't underestimate Dem turnout and a possible depressed Rep turnout. How independents will vote and in what numbers will be a factor. IMO the race will be far closer than nine points. I hope I am wrong.
The other Rep senator from Alabama, Shelby, said he was not voting for Moore. I wonder how many of Luther Strange's supporters will stay home.
The Dems were motivated to turn out since polls were showing their candidate leading and there was a great deal of money being spent for the seat.
Yet, despite all of that, the result was a solid victory for the Republican.
The Democrat would need Obama like numbers from the Blacks to get a win and he isn't going to get them, not even close.
And since this is for a Senate seat, the GOP vote is going to be strong as well.
Trump putting the call to vote will motivate voters.
We will see.
You are right!! Most people here whether they be Rep or Dem do at the very least respect the man. I had never heard anything bad about him until these idiots started to come forward and accused him of untoward advances and the such. If he had done anything that bad in his past it certainly would have come out long before this. A lot of people here know a lot of people in this state. Its like a huge community.
Hugh labels himself “center right”.
More like what center left used to be.
