Thanks for the ping. Very confusing tonight. Scenes were so dark I couldn’t tell what the heck was going on most of the time.
I’m worried that Hollywood has corrupted him. When he his plans included going to Auburn, I thought he might skip the corruption. Oh well.
I think it’s a straw man.
I think he’ll be back.
Then again, I might be wrong but this sounds EXACTLY like the Jon Snow sleight of hand.
Uh-oh! Look who got bit.
So I’m watching it now.
The moment I have waited for, for so many years...Daryl gets his cut back.
Hells to the yeah.
I am content.
[internally cheering]
But when King Zeke got punched, I wanted to jump on that guy’s back and rip out his jugular with my bare teeth.
Maybe, maybe not.
*Some* of the survivors apparently have an immunity to the bites.
So the theory goes.
We’ll see when we see.
:)
I was thinking exactly that about Carl. Maybe the younger survivors have a better chance of their immune systems adapting to the current needs.
I think he got bit while he was buddying up to Sadik one or two episodes ago.
Could’ve been a Whisperer bite, too.
Everyone on REDDIT is talking about that, and that the shirt was not damaged so saliva may have not contacted him.
And I had to laugh at those who said “Gimble says Carl is dead” and a bazillion others said “So was Jon Snow”.
So there ya go.
Try not to be shocked if he pops back up, later.
The walker attack in the forest, like several days ago, in their time.
Kid sure is taking an unusually long time to croak from a walker bite.
Different croaks for different folks...
LOL
Everybody and their dog is making a point of how Gimble did NOT confirm that it was a walker bite on Talking Dead, when asked.
Another theory is that the storyline/future Carl arc will be transferred onto Daryl, to fulfill.
That possibility pleases me greatly.
Has this idea of Carl as the storyteller been in the comic book?
I hate that guy who punched King Zeke. I used to not care for Zeke, I’m not sure why, but now I love him. Same goes for Morgan too.
But here’s what I am thinking.
I think that move that Eugene pulled with letting the doctor and Father Gabriel escape the Sanctuary is going to have an effect on the Coral walker bite situation.
Father Gabreil told Eugene that he is doing the right thing, and that thing is going to be what redeems Eugene.
At least that is my theory.
I was thinking the same thing during the big battle in Alexandria a few weeks ago. I thought that someone, one of the great shooters, should have been hiding on a roof someplace to take him out. That would be their only mission -- take this guy out. Then, you can worry about the rest of them.

I was very happy to see Carl get bit. What an annoying character and lousy actor. Hope they don’t pull some “not really walker-bitten” trickery like they did with Glen and the dumpster way back when.
Regardless the show is past its sell-by date. The repeated implausible scenarios and inexplicable decisions detract mightily from its watch-ability. (Latest: Why does Maggies’s convoy team just sit there while unidentified trucks roll up on them?)
And now the heavy-handed positioning of a couple of Muslim characters as pure good guys/victims injects overt left wing politics into the story line.
Come on walker horde - eat them all!
Yep.
Hilariously, Gimbles Twitter account is a bloodbath.
