St Moritz, Switzerland (CNN)A number of US athletes have spoken out against Donald Trump during his presidency -- and skier Lindsey Vonn has become the latest to have her say. Targeting Olympic gold at February's Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, Vonn is in St. Moritz, Switzerland, where she spoke passionately about what it means to compete for the US ski team. "Well I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the president," Vonn told CNN's Alpine Edge.

She’s gotta be, like, 45 years old. Why is she news?
We all do and say silly things when we are young that upon reflection of old age we wished we didn’t. Until the digital age came around few of us did and say these things so that they would be recorded and archive for all times.
Political climates change and the days of a conservative America is still before us. There will be a day when President Trumps administration will looked upon as saving our nation.
Fools like this will be held up in ridicule for falling for the easy cheap attacks. Lindsey Vonn if remembered at all will be for cheapening American athletics at the 2017 winter games.
It could have only come from the sick mind of Michael O’Donoghue.
Nice. So now the Olympics athletes are turning against their nation. Throw her off the team.
She’s the one who dated Tiger Woods?
What does that say about her judgement.
She’s over the hill and trying to stay relevant. Bye Felicia
Enough already.
How many Medal winners are going to kneel during the Awards Ceremony? I suppose the good news is that the Winter Olympics is pretty much the “White Olympics.”
These attention grabbing political vermin aren’t even welcome in hell.
I mean it!..............
So, she’s black by injection?.................
The only time Tiger turned her down it was face down.
Well, maybe in Iraq, Cuba and other assorted nut job-lead countries they might.
A snowflake in every sense of the word. Hey, Lindsey, I’ve never heard of you and you’ve never heard of me so you have no right to represent me and I don’t have to listen to you. Quit objectifying and appropriating me. Now, go away.
Ouch! LOL!
1. I’d like to see a tape of her swing this.
2. She does represent the people of the United States and not the president.
3. I have been misquoted and quoted out of context plenty of times.
I was recently interviewed by our flagship newspaper for the celebration of “The Day of the Dead”.
Somehow much of what was written was complete out of context that I said.
Best part was when the writer wrote about the day in which he quoted me saying “It’s not political “
He left it hanging as if I was making that point, which I didn’t
Let’s give her a break and not further politicize the Olympics
I knew that was coming.
don’t do us/US any favors. take your knee to another team.
Ok, Lindsey. Buh-bye.
(Don’t know who she is and don’t care.)
She won’t be representing Mensa either.
