Hearing-impaired people tuning in to a news conference about the arrest of a suspected serial killer last week in Florida got a message of gibberish from an American Sign Language interpreter.
As Tampa police Chief Brian Dugan announced the arrest of Howell Donaldson Wednesday night, interpreter Derlyn Roberts was there beside him, making signs that made no sense.

If you can, find a video of this woman at the press conference. It is stunningly incompetent. As one who does not sign, even I could tell this was a bunch ‘o crap.

Looks like Roberts knew some sign language, and a lot of words, but got the syntax all wrong. That’s not total “gibberish.”

The sarcasm tag is inappropriate. The SJW really believe hiring based on qualifications and merit is racist and that the terms “qualified” and “competent” ARE racial dog whistles.
