Multiple structures on fire in the city of Ventura.
Lots of medical calls. Listening to the dispatch for Ventura fire they are stretched very thin.
Unfortunately this kinda sounds like what happened up here in napa. Houses, malls, everything was burning. It was chaos.
Big time prayers going down to the people of Ventura.

Not in NAPA but have friends there and had plenty of fire fighter friends who worked tirelessly on those fires.

People tend to underestimate how fast a fire can move, upwards of 60mph.
Nuns Fire started about 1/4 mile from us. Pretty sporty the first night.
In these winds it leaps. It may not move as a line. Easy to get cut off.

I would concede that many of the practices of the liberals and environmentalists (just another word for socialist) here contribute to the fire problems here, but no one deserves this. I just went through it in Sonoma County.
They didn’t check immigration status of people dragging themselves out of a fire nor should they and likewise,even people we don’t agree with need help and compassion when things like this happen. Until you have been in one of these, it is hard to comprehend the abject terror some experience. No one deserves that.

25,000 acres is approx. 40 square miles. Man, did that fire enlarge quickly.
I know this isn't the time for it, but the phrase is, 'fare well'.
Prayers out to all affected Ventura County residents, in this moment of calamity.
They're all in DC, just waiting for Trump to fall.
60 mile an hour winds will do that.
