Fans Call for Tony Romo to Save Cowboys
NBC DFW ^ | 11/24

After the Dallas Cowboys lost to the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, some fans on social media started to call for quarterback Tony Romo to come out of retirement.

The Cowboys lost their third straight game -- and it was also the third straight game where quarterback Dak Prescott failed to toss a touchdown and the second straight with multiple interceptions.

Prescott, who threw only four interceptions in 2016, has thrown five in the last two weeks and nine this season.

Romo, who retired and became a broadcaster for CBS last season after losing his starting role due to injury, smiled and waved to fans at AT&T Stadium calling for him to get on the field. Some of the reaction can be seen below.

With that offensive line?! I doubt he really wants to break more bones.

The NFL is a taped league, opposing coaches get to watch what you do and plan against it, if you’re team doesn’t get better they get worse. The Cowboys haven’t gotten better in any phase of the game, and the opponents know how to beat them.

I almost dislike the people that still go as much as the players protesting. Drives me nuts that people take happy selfies at these games!

I’ve seen it a million times: Rookie QB starts playing, gets hot, is labeled as the player that will “change the game” by the talking heads.
Year two comes around and all the D-Coordinators have tape on him then he collapses.

Sounds like Kaepernick to a tee.

He would be a total idiot to give up his new career.

If he went back to the Cowboys, it would be proof-positive that he suffered too many concussions... :-)
