Wonder Woman will probably make it out okay. But everyone else associated with this movie is toast.
One of the rituals of Thanksgiving weekend is heading out to see a movie. And so, with that in mind, let me do you a mitzvah: Do not see Justice League. Under any circumstances do not go to see Justice League.
Justice League is the movie Ive been waiting for since I was a kid. Its the comic book series I loved the most and the team I always wanted to see on the big screen. I say this so that youll know my priors. But I also want you to understand that Ive reached the point in life where even the prospect of a cherished childhood comic book being turned into a movie no longer gives me any great excitement. Its not cynicism, exactly. Its just that I understand what I like and I understand the economics of the movie business and so I understand that movies like Justice League arent made for people like me. And I accept these basic economic facts.

Ezra Miller identifies himself as “queer”.
I have no idea what or who or why that Cyborg guy is doing in the movie.
I don’t like Ben Affleck.
I’ve never pictured Aquaman as a hairy Hawaiian surfer dude.
I like Gal Gadot a lot. But not enough to see this movie.
My sons liked it. I thought it was okay.
They made it seem like it would be such a BIG DEAL by not even showing anything on Superman in the trailers and it was such a HUGE letdown!! So anti-climatic!!!
Good!
Boycott Hollywierd and the NFL and all other Cultural Marxist entities
I've NEVER done that. A new ritual just started - no NFL. Please pass the leftover stuffing.
The writers and the director should go into unrelated fields of work.
Batman should be recast for a new solo movie.
I guess I’m an old codger since movies based on amusement park rides, video games or comic books don’t interest me at all. But then I’m not the demographic they’re aiming for with these films.
Look at that photo. Do you SERIOUSLY have to wonder about that?
The next movie will have Apache Chief, El Dorado, Samurai, and just to be on the safe side Black Vulcan.
Movies are all special effects no acting. Them it’s anti-conservative crap......i refuse to give them my money.
Well, if they make a movie of Gal Gadot reading the phone book, I’d probably go see it.
i saw what zack snyder was trying to do with the movie and i think it would have been 10 times better if he were able to finish it. wheden screwed it and probably cut out 45 minutes of scenes that tied the whole thing together. look at the directors cut of Man of Steel or the Watchemn, very well put together.
Homowood must have a coprophile and an African in every movie always portrayed as a highly intelligent hero with the coprophile being adept at gerbiling with a consenting adult gerbil.
I thought comics were fine until I turned twelve and then sports, girls and real books took over.
Snyder is under-appreciated as a superhero film director, IMHO. That he pulled of the nigh-impossible in adapting Watchmen... that alone proclaims his prowess.
So anti-climatic!!!
They hated the weather?
Including three separate data wranglers.
The only good line in the movie was Bruce Wayne saying (PLOT SPOILER) "I'm rich."
The DCEU is pretty weak outside of Wonder Woman.
This was a completely fresh take on Batman, nobody had every seen anything like it. Its influence can hardly be overstated. It almost single handedly revitalized comics, and had a large part in Hollywood taking notice and start making serious superhero movies. But it was also very bleak and depressing.
It has now been a generation after that comic came out, and it is not new and fresh anymore. It is the old standard that everyone has grown up with now.
The problem with DC comic book movies Vs. Marvel is that they are too bleak and dark, because of their DC history going back to the Dark Knight Returns. At first it was exiting, but now I think audiences are ready to move past the Dark Knight, and onto something else. Marvel movies are consistently lighter, funnier, even more brightly colored, and are much more popular. The only blockbuster DC movie has been WonderWoman, which did not fall into the Dark Knight bleakness trap.
As much as I liked the Dark Knight at the time, its time to move on.
