Melania Trump, 47, wore the colour of the season for the unusual ceremony, carried out by every President over the past 70 years.
Donald Trump's wife wore a deep red knitted polo neck jumper which she paired with a tight burgundy leather skirt.
The skirt, which clung to every curve, was worn very high, coming up to Melania’s waist.
The coat covered the rest of Melania’s stunning outfit.
The First Lady beamed as she watched her husband perform the turkey pardon.
Her hair was worn in a centre parting, and she kept her makeup simple.
Son Barron looked smart in a suit and skinny tie
The First Daughter and Melania's stepdaughter appeared to copy the First Lady with her choice of outfit for the event.
Ivanka also wore red for the annual turkey pardoning, and not only was the colour similar, Ivanka’s outfit had a heavy floral brocade pattern mirroring the coat Melania wore.
The 36-year-old smiled as she joined her husband, Jared Kushner, and their children for the event.
She chose a vibrant red coat with diamante buttons and a floral brocade collar.
Earlier today, Melania stepped out in sexy leather boots to inspect the White House Christmas tree.
Delivered by a horse and cart, the tree is a Wisconsin grown Fir provided by the Chapman family of Silent Night Evergreens.
The First Lady decided to get in the festive spirit with her choice of outfit choosing to wrap up warm in a red and navy check coat, worn resting on her shoulders.
She slipped on a bright red turtle neck top underneath and dark blue skinny jeans, and dressed up the outfit with a pair of patent black knee high boots.
Trump needs to drop about 20 pounds
The skirt looks sleek to me, not sexy.

Does anyone remember any headline calling Michelle Obama “sexy” or at least her outfit being “sexy”?
Don’t get me wrong, I know Melania and her clothes could be described that way, but I have the feeling the paper does that as much to demean her (as just being an attractive woman rather than a woman as substance) as it does to point out a fact (which they so rarely do these days).
Most of the time, I think her outfits are nice. Not this one.

It’s so nice to have a truly beautiful, fashionable and graceful First Lady.
Eight years of a petulant, lumbering Chewbacca for FLOTUS was eight years too many. The Haute Couture chattering class kept telling us her hideous and unflattering fashion choices were brilliant. But everyone knew she was possibly the sloppiest and least fashionable FLOTUS of all time.
Is Barron on a step or something? He looks almost as tall as his parents!

Well it is as far as I'm concerned. A "trophy wife " is a wife the husband is so proud of and wants to show her off. She's great inside and out. Makes her husband's buttons burst with pride.
We need MUCH more of that exemplified in our anti-feminine, anti-masculine, neurotic popular culture today.
IMO, the only people that don't like "trophy wife " are the frumped-up Leftists. They CERTAINLY don't like truly feminine and truly glamorous Melania.

not a fan of the high wasted skirts - remind me of MO boob belt - also makes melania look like she’s getting a belly.
I don’t care for the cut of the skirt, it’s unflattering IMHO, but the colors are wonderful and I love the coat.
I think it’s ugly, too.

A HUGE IMPROVEMENT from the previous first lady that was frankly an embarrassment.
President Trump is luck man to have such a beautiful and intelligent woman.
The word is Melania speaks 5 languages and was already a millionaire when she met President Trump. I barely know 2.
