Russian Federation Veterinary and Plant Health Inspection Service (Rosselhoznadzor) of The Bryansk and Smolensk Oblasts Administration reported that the first truck carrying 20 tons of Turkish tomatoes arrived in Russia after about two years.
In the statement made to a Russian news agency Ria Novosti, "The first truck carrying 20 tons of tomatoes from the company officially sanctioned for import this year from Turkey came to Russia today, and the standard customs and phytosanitary controls are being carried out."
Bandita-type tomatoes were produced and exported by Agrobay company. Russia will collect 50 kilotons of tomatoes from four Turkish companies this year from Turkey.

Comments of readers:
Rasim YILMAZ: Two years of humiliation in foreign policy for a truckload of tomatoes. The real issue everyone is concerned about is when Russia would abolish travel visas to which the answer is never. We have begun to send tomatoes, it is enough. Okay.
utku yıldırım: If we receive three liras for kilogram, then for 20 tons we will earn 60 thousand
yes we have grown rich, really:) if they sell us a stabilizer of the S-400 rocket, to us it is necessary
not to stop 600 tons of tomatoes, more tomatoes are necessary))
Haluk Opter: If the truck of tomatoes is sent, means all issues are resolved
Here what success in foreign policy.
neşet ulu: Oh, glory Allah, our tomatoes have driven to Russia
D ış Haber: Tomatoes became good entertainment for Russians. How many parodies, jokes, caricatures they have thought up on this subject.
TUNAY EGIN: My God, I will pay now. And what if to us to pay with tomatoes for S-400? In 500 years we will pay off?
A cengiz: Mr. president has told that these problems will be overcome. Over time we will export much more. Both countries are ready to move further to real friendship in this direction.
ibrahim arık: 20 tons, you joke? We buy billions worth of stuff from them
All right, the main thing that they removed travel ban and tourists are coming back
deniz deniz: Now over greenhouses of Anatolia the festive fireworks blow up.
Haluk Opter: Everything could be simpler why we haven't put tomato plantations in Russia? Unless in such country how Russia, it wouldn't be more favorable?
Sümer Sümer: Under the special agreement of Turkey and Russia only four Turkish firms can export. Who are they? For example, whether the fact that Agrobay has built the mosque on one and a half thousand people and Muslim school has played a role?
Fatih Gürsoy: We only drop the advantage, rejoicing to it. Better we would make the mobile phone, the car and would sell to the Russians

How long ago did that Turkish security officer gun down the Russian ambassador on live television?
How long after that did Turkey shoot down a Russian plan over Syria?
How about that Russian spy ship that somehow sank in the Bosphorus?
Its hard to imagine Turkey and Russia are play mates again, so soon.

From my recollection Zarrab was an Iranian agent using Turkish assets to laundry Iranian funds and Turkey was complicit in that. So much for Erdogan hatred of Mullahs. He loves money above all.
