If youre scared of heights, youre going to find that this walkway is going to scare you just looking at the photos! You arent alone, though, and many people would take one look at this adventure and simply turn the other way. After all, who needs to walk around 5000 feet in the air, anyway, right?
If, however, you are taking one look at this glass option and thinking How fast can I get there?, you arent alone either. All you have to do is take a look at the photos and see that there are other adventurers that are looking to get in some excellent time in the world of heights. You have to admit that it would make some incredible pictures, theres no question about that. Can you stomach the heights? That, it seems, is the question that everyone is asking themselves when they look about going on it.
My dad was in military aircraft design from 1939 to 1982. He could not ride in a glass elevator however.
I have my private pilots license and instrument rating and this makes me ill also. It’s nuts. I’d walk it but why? I wouldn’t enjoy it AT ALL. Especially knowing Chi Coms built it.
But put me in front of a video game with 3D movement, after 15 minutes I am puking sick and worthless for the rest of the day.
Upset me that, when I went to the skywalk at Grand Canyon, you could not take your phone with you for pictures. When the lady at the gate told me that, I left.
How was this thing built?
Don’t know about this thing, but in the mid 60s in Hong Kong they used bamboo scaffolding to get up to however many stories they were constructing then.
If you think it’s brave just walking out there, imagine how brave you had to be to be one of the people who built it!
“Im trying to figure out how picture number 4 was taken.”
Look closely at pic 7. The darker portion of the walkway bends in such a way as to allow that photo from the walkway.
No thank you on the glass bridge.
I’ve crossed a few bridges in China and it wasn’t fun. One was a wooden shaky suspension bridge high over a dry river. I was only a short way across when some jerky college guys decided to shake it more by jumping up and down. I quickly backed up and got off.
Who wants to look 600 feet below them when their dining?
I think it's going to be a huge multi-million dollar mistake.
Maybe it's just me.
Falling is not as bad as the landing.....
But the rocks at the bottom will break your fall.
I know the seat doesn’t move much....it’s an illusion
But I could only watch through slits.....too afraid to open my eyes
Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, and NOPE!!!!
Love soaring did you remeber the aroma of oranges ?
No!.....all senses stalled!
Actually, I vaguely do.
