A University of Texas at Austin student accused of drunk driving crashed into a restaurant on Guadalupe Street early Monday morning, and when confronted by police, said, Im a UT student! You cant arrest me! Officers say when they tried to put her in handcuffs, she violently pulled away and claimed they couldnt arrest her because shes a UT student. When asked if she intended to fight with officers, police say she replied, Yeah! Once inside a police car, officers say she began to kick at the windows and doors. She was then restrained in the backseat and taken to Travis County central booking, where deputies put her in a restraint chair and wheeled her into an isolation cell due to her violent behavior.

Poetically speaking, that sort of behavior isn't limited to the praying mantis. In our species, the courts can create a similar result, figuratively if not literally.
Yep she pretty much centered that barrier pole. Otherwise
no telling how far that car would have gone into the interior.

Hell, she’s lucky to have survived her idiocy.

My wife and I have become hooked on "LivePD." We call it the Train Wreck show.
I feel guilty as I have always hated those stupid shows like Cops but LivePD is truly like watching a train wreck in slow motion.
