CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - A man was taken into custody after several pounds of LSD were confiscated from a Clarksville home.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s officials said the drugs were found Wednesday while drug task force agents were executing a search warrant at a home on Shady Grove Road.
They said 6.37 pounds of LSD were confiscated, along with components used to make the drug.
Roy Edward Wagner III was taken into custody and charged with schedule I drugs and unlawful drug paraphernalia.

Sounds unlikely. That’s a hell of a lot of LSD.
Back around ‘90 a trucker friend said it was something you could take at like 1/10th or so of a tripping dose and remain awake and with sharp mental facilities.

That's a persistent urban legend.
There would be a huge dilution factor for any reasonable amount of LSD. Then there's chlorination, which breaks down the acid into harmless components.
You can google all you want, but there is a shortcut to the answer: Just consider, if it were possible, it would have been done by now.

In my era of strong LSD doses before folks wised up that smaller dosage was less challenging and more pleasant if the purity was Owsley or Sand or Scully or Mickey of Santa Cruz caliber
300 micrograms was about low end rocket fuel in 1972
6.37 pounds would produce 9,639,933 hits at that dosage
That’s a lot of acid
I doubt Owsley himself produced much more than that in the USA in his career

and if you’re really smart your can synthesize ergotamine from that and then if your Dr Frankenstein brainy you go on to lysergic acid from that

LSD is served up in micrograms....when Leary was doing his thing, he was taking milligrams and they later discovered he was taking waaaaay more than necessary to get the trip on the road.
At 250 micrograms per dose, that would be almost 11.6 million doses.
