NFL players who have been protesting social issues during the national anthem have requested a formal mediation session with the league, and quarterback Colin Kaepernick has agreed to attend the meeting.

It’s all over for the NF’nL. There are going to be some serious paycuts and then they will all stand up but it will be too late.
He has agreed to forgive the NFL as long as they give him his job back. What could be fairer than that? :)
Colon had a couple years left on his $20+ million a year contract & walk away from it.

He was pretty much finished in SF. They were expected to cut him after that season anyway. Those multi-year NFL contracts usually have a big out for the teams. It was not guaranteed past the first couple of years which he had already played on his “big” contract.
What is the point in mediation between players who are insulting the fans who fund the NFL and owners who are permitting their players to insult our flag, our anthem, our military, our country, and our ancestors? They are on the same side as far as I can tell.
Note: There is no point in mediation that includes us either. We already know what the players and owners really believe about America.

Seriously, if they cause is police abuse of the black man and the players are exercising their First Amendment (as they see it), how about meeting with police representatives? It’s not the owners shooting them on sight (LOL).

The NFL decision has given conservatives a rare opportunity to take a whack at Black Lives Matter and the manipulations of Obama’s collusion with the media.
But the so called pundits are blowing it off. In effect diverting the media’s complitity which allowed this racial division diversion created by Obama ro take place.
Obama is still the untouchable and fellow radicals are just laughing at the NFL debacle and praising his political genius because pundits are letting the media divert that direction to “cum bye ja” and a dozen other directions.
Because pundits should be citing the racial division created by Obama and the subsequent racial incidents asking those bended knee players if they support this ?. Or that Kaepernick donated 25G$ to a cop killer now in Cuba support group .
The problem here is refusing to connecting the dots to the democrats who created racial divisuon when Obama through the abuse of his office and the “Bully Pulpit” began creating “victims” out of blacks engaged in criminal activities who were not just resisting legal arrest but responding by attacking legal authority and endangering their lives .
Until this get exposed along with its political purposes which was creating racial division and a impeachable proof barrier as the continuing political discourse which has been expanded to include “white guilt” will continue.
When blame the cops for cold blooded killings started by Obama’s use of the Bully Pulpit. It began with his comments during the Zimmerman trial. Those comments inspired at least 10* deadly assaults ending in death of any non black who wandered near or in “hoods” controlled by members cf black ganags.
One such noteable case is that of Christopher Lane an Australian murdered by Crypts while visiting Duncan Oklahoma.*(At the time the media avoided any reference made to “For Trayvon” reason given in those murders by the culprits mainly gang members. Of the I think the figure (10)is more like 20 racially inspired murders)
Obama was never held accountable for his inflamatory remarks. And because he wasn’t he contunued hammering away creating a wider racial division targeting police authority which resulted in cops being targeted and murdered in cold blood.

I dont really give a damn what they do or what the chief troublemaker does. I am done with the NFL. The can mediate all day long.

I finally got to see the NFLPA ad telling us how patriotic the players are and how we should come back.
Seems we could find out if the 5 players featured in the ad ever took a knee during the anthem.
Funny how I don’t miss football on Sundays anymore.
