Its estimated that there are more than 310 million firearms in the United States. Thats a firearm for nearly every man, woman and child. But only a minority of Americans owns the bulk of these guns. Pew Research Center polling shows that around 37 percent of Americans report that an adult in their household owns a gun. Perhaps weve passed the point where we can usefully ask why some Americans are armed to the teeth and others arent. We champion our Second Amendment. It should remain inviolable. To neuter it would incite war. At what point, however, does the unabated and loosely regulated domestic arms race render us all potential victims? If you don’t one have stashed in every room, every car and truck you own then you don’t have enough.
My answer is the standard "Break into my home some night and you'll find out". None of my docs have asked- yet.
How about comparing the number of Oldsmobiles owned in America with Teddy Kennedy’s ability to drive???
IF only 37% ‘own guns in America”, I say that many people did NOT tell the truth to that poll.
Besides-—since such polls are conducted with phone calls & those numbers can be recorded & traced back to the owner, WHY would I answer that question in the first place??????
I don’t know. I can’t count that high.
Not at all. Don't let the loudmouth black leftists convince you that most black people think that way. We don't.
As an adult, I have yet to meet a black person that wasn’t a racist. I work in a professional environment, yet, every black person I have known eventually came out as a racist, from a VP of Engineering that would never invite a white person to his Super Bowl parties to the fellow engineer that was hoping Obama would lead a “bloody revolution”. I thought I had friends with several blacks, only to find that wasn’t the case.
I had black friends as a child, but not a single one as an adult.
I'm sad to hear of your experiences. I can only surmise that you haven't known all that many black people in your adult life, and of those you have known, most were the ignorant sort.
There's good and bad in every sub-group of humanity. Most cannot be pigeon-holed into any one stereotype. You may never meet them, but there are millions of blacks in this country who don't hate you because of your race.
I am going through that drill today, but in my case, am going to try and unload the old one at a gun show - 45 ACP Hi-Point carbine.
Reason? The new one (TNW AREO PERCISION ASR 45 ACP in black) as it takes Glock magazines which gives me a greater capacity:
The numbers say there should be at least 1.2 million blacks that want nothing to do with the racism being shown lately. I wish I could have met at least one of them.
But you have met one of them.....me.
OK. I’ll stop saying I’ve never met one. I’ve met one. Howdy!
Howdy to you too, friend.
I’m a black man who’s about America, and all that encapsulates. I’m not the only one, by any means.
I would be great to hear black Americans step out, create web sites, whatever it takes to shout down the racism. A million or more people can make a lot of noise.
How Many...Indeed!
I picture a pirate, carrying about 1/2 dozen pistols, and topped off with his dagger held in his teeth.
What would be todays equivalent?"

A guy wearing a MAGA hat, carrying a mini-gun, dagger in teeth. Kind of like the eagle in this picture, just more so:
Never saw any number in the Constitution quantifying permitted number of guns, so there’s that.
And for all of you First Amendment Lame Stream Media out there: How many books is enough? How much ink? How much paper?
