Things are going from bad to worse regarding relations between NFL players, owners and fans.
On a day when the largest national anthem protest yet was staged, it now appears that players and owners will not be meeting as planned to discuss a solution to the ongoing social justice concerns that prompted the protests.
Philadelphia Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins, one of the key spokesmen for the players, says a meeting between the owners and players to discuss social justice initiatives has been canceled. Jenkins claimed the league did not accept an invitation for the meeting, which was to be held Monday in Philadelphia, saying scheduling issues would not permit them to attend.

Yup.
Time to shut it down, declare bankruptcy, then start up a new league with clear rules for behaviour. Break the rules, your contract is cancelled. I wonder how many will stand by their so-called principles when their big money is on the line (which it is now, they’re just too stupid to realize it).

NFL will soon realize their former fans are instead enjoying time spent with family and fans who dont insult them at every opportunity. I have not seen a game all season and I do not miss it.

“Jenkins claimed the league did not accept an invitation for the meeting, which was to be held Monday in Philadelphia,”
How does one cancel a meeting that both parties did not agree to attend? Meeting? We don’t need no stinkin meeting.
Meanwhile, Kapernitwit was supposed to be included in the meeting. Last I looked, this clown was unemployed free agent. So am I for that matter. Of course they would not want me at the meeting because my comment would be: your fired for conduct detrimental to the game.

Bet the owners care....A LOT.....

Obviously, the player is too dimwitted to realize that without fans, there is no need for a league in which he can play.

Solution? You mean like graduating from high school; behaving while in school; decreasing the illegitimate birth rate from 75% to zero; getting off welfare/food stamps; decreasing the black crime rate to zero.
That would be a good start.

This year’s World Series is the most exciting in years. It’s the best baseball the MLB has had in a long time. Their timing is perfect.
Baseball should be on it’s way to being back as America’s #1 sport. (Let’s hope).
