Don’t recall this guy saying Bupkis whenever Obama dissed the millitary, the police, the country...
Politics over country eh Popovich? You’re scum.

Makes me smile to know that Popovich is so tortured by the fact we now have a President who, unlike him, loves our country,.

Coming from a guy surrounded by his friends and likeminded people, I cannot take Popovitch seriously in the slightest.

Professional sports were enjoyable when owners, coaches, players did not discuss politics.
former NBA and NFL fan.

Not all that good of a coach, just a clown who rode the coattails of Tim Duncan for many years.

Coach Popovich talks the liberal talk. Considering
the fact that the NBA is comprised of predominantly
black players he should walk the liberal walk by
relinquishing his lofty position and demanding that
a young aspiring black coach replace him.

I had preferred to watch NAIA and NCAA basketball but when Kobe was in a commercial lecturing us on PC language ..... and that was years ago.
Yeah, I need the NBA telling the rest of us what to do.
The NFL has gone extra stupid this year.
I would’t miss either of them at all.

I've never seen anything like this, where public figures so openly and viciously attack a sitting president, impugning not only him but the millions of fellow citizens who voted for him. Popovich is beclowning himself - his behavior is childish and his statements are worse than anything Trump has ever said by several orders of magnitude.
There was a time when any head coach of any sports team would have been fired on the spot for resorting to school-yard name-calling against anyone, let alone the president. I guess those days are past in this oh so sensitive modern America.

this guys gonna crack up..he’ll never last 7 more years of Trump...lol...Trumps press conferences are must see tv....this is all so much fun.

There was an actual survey done about this with plot points, etc. inside a circle graph. The football fans were the most conservative, but tennis and basketball were significantly on the liberal side. Baseball was about in the middle but slightly liberal.
You probably have more anecdotal knowledge than me, however. I never warmed up to the Lakers while living in SoCAl.

Pop, destroying my San Antonio Spurs one stupid, political, anti-Trump obsessive comment at a time.
It was a nice run Spurs (originally Gunslingers) back all the way to the HemisFair Arena, Red McCombs, James Silas, George Gervin, the American colored ball, and the ABA.
But it is no longer about the decades-long “Spurs family” and the game of basketball.

There are a few. I used to work with a guy who was in the USAF Reserve and was a craven Obama suck and insisted that the fake Dan Rather letter was true.

AssJoe: I am hoping to run into Popovich in an airport lobby sometime to knock his teeth out.
Blue Jays: At which time you would be immediately and correctly arrested by local law enforcement.
AssJoe: I was not aware of that. Can I use you for my information reference? I have never met anyone as intelligent as you. You are so great. You are wonderful. Why didnt God just make you and no one else? Are you a natural prick or did you have to work at it?
I know, I know, you are a natural.
