I work in an area where i am a target. DCMA is a congress mandated Federal organization created to investigate fraud. I ensure the warfighter, and NASA get what the taxpayer is paying for. By law, I am unarmed.

I uncover fraud on the order of tens to hundreds of millions of dollars. What do you think keeps me and my coworkers safe? Goodwill? Happy thoughts? In war zones we are armed and travel with an armed contingent. Overseas we work on base. Stateside we work behind armed guards.

Daily, I investigate materials, engineering materials, workmanship
, drawings and the final product. Without any protection; there is no way to ensure that what we do;’remains unbiased.

If you don’t like it; tough. Congress and the President have spoken, it is the Law.

I am sure you and DCMA do a great service to our nation, espc. regarding contractor fraud etc.

You chose what you do for a living. By your own words you are provided all kinds of protection- what’s your point?

Do you need a law that makes killing you more important than killing me? Really? Looks to me like you have all the support and protection you need.
