Hillary Clinton admits she tried to get out of going to the Trump inauguration and dismisses WikiLeaks as 'an arm of Russian intelligence' - and STILL blames everyone but herself for losing the election in new interview
Clinton appeared at the Cheltenham Literary Festival in the UK Sunday
She said she had hoped not to attend the inauguration as Bill Clinton's wife
But when George W Bush - a Trump critic - said he was going, her fate was sealed
She also blamed WikiLeaks for contributing to her loss for hosting hacked emails
They were Putin's puppets, she said, noting that they did not criticize Russia
Pizzagate conspiracy theory, GOP not wanting a female president also blamed
But ex-FBI director James Comey's email investigation clinched it, she said
At no point did Clinton suggest that she herself may have contributed to her loss
She also defended NFL kneeling as a 'perfectly legitimate' form of protest
And she skirted criticism of her defense of sex accusations about Bill Clinton
Clinton has admitted that she didn't want to go to Donald Trump's inauguration - and even tried to get out of it - in an interview at a UK book festival on Sunday.
Clinton told an audience at the Cheltenham Literature Festival that she had called George W Bush - a fellow critic of Trump in the run-up to the election - in the hopes that he wouldn't go, giving her an excuse to follow suit.
Bush Jr had agreed to attend in his position as a former President, along with wife Laura, she said - and so she and Bill had to 'suck it up' and go too.
She also slammed WikiLeaks for turning into 'an arm of Russian intelligence'

Hellary will be around forever. Maggots will not want to feed on her carcass.
Make that a sociopathic tantrum and you’d be correct.
Uhhhhhh. Yeahhh. I guess in Libturdology that makes some sort of sense.
Whoa. That's not the same as saying she tried to get out of going.
Ah. So, as the shining example to women everywhere of their power to exercise autonomy over their lives and to show what a strong-willed person you are, you caved to another man.
That’s awesome. She is indeed the name that must not be spoken.
I think she had that incessant cough because she developed a habit of doing that every time she walked in on Wham-Bam Bill and some bimbo, to let them know she was there.
What does that mean??? She's his wife whether she wins or loses.
Well put. The most brilliant, most talented, toughest woman in the world decides she has to attend because Bush is going? This is the woman who was going to stand up to all the world’s bad guys. This is beyond laughable.
She deserves all the scorn and derision that can possibly be heaped upon her. What a whining loser.
The cumulative effect of her yammering like this is (hopefully) bad for all Democrats.
Two soulless corpses standing there. This is the season of the walking dead.
Dead woman walking...she kills everything she touches, she wanted to bring death to America.
I certainly hope so!
She can think about it every morning when she awakens...
And every night when she throws her lamp against the wall... and mutters... " ..not my fault! President of nothing... "failed candidate for president in '16..."
FLASH! Glass ceiling still in place!
The nation is still safe.
Landslide!
“Damned Secret Service saboteurs!”
As classy as ever /sarc
It sounds strange to me as well. Has the loser always attended the inauguration?
The answer is no.
McGovern did not attend Nixon’s in 1973:

It looks like Mondale was a no-show in 1985:

Dukakis didn’t show in 1989:

Romney did not attend in 2013:

Of course she has! I heard her lots of times.
"I take full responsibility!"
Unfortunately she operates under the advice Jessy Jackass gave her husband...
Once you say you're sorry and say the magic words, no further action is necessary. Nothing like "consequences," anyway.
