I've been looking at data on viewers. Typically, first game has some 135 Million viewers/week, then trails off to about 100 million/week.
This year, only had 114 Million first week, but averaging only 80 million per week now. And the 18-49 year old are only a small percentage of that.
I’m thinking that it’s more a case of giving their formerly paying customers what they want.
The NFL is exposed as anti-Christian, anti-capitalist, anti-Constitutuon.
Any apparent change in policy is a sop because of lost revenue.

couple of thoughts. I boycotted every game last year., so that’s about 21 weeks with playoffs. If they do the right thing I ,might come back 21 weeks after they start up again. And add the weeks this season.
I dislike the game. i don’t like celebrations when you make a tackle or you’re a defensive back and the receiver doesn’t catch the ball and you give the incomplete sign and run 20 years and shake tour head no. i don’t like all the protection rules on the QB and the types of blocks and so forth. And way too many commercials. i have more if I can think of it.
Whatever they can do to keep enough fans to support existence of their business is what owners will do. Regardless NFL’s demise, everyone noticed where the actual wealth of this country comes from.

Call off the season after 12 weeks. No playoffs/super bowl. Let the owners and the minimum wage($500k) marginal players take the hit. Owners will be ok.

Wow. That letter is nothing more than psychobabble to appease the players. No mention of how they have insulted their fans, or how they can win back support. Apparently he thinks telling thugs to stand will make everyone happy and they will be free to give the players a platform to insult them together as a league. He still thinks the NFL should be political.
