4 days after Las Vegas massacre and still no motive? What are your thought?

Nearly 4 days later after the suspect committed one of the biggest mass murders in U.S. history and still no motive? That seems a bit odd considering everthing.

Even if the suspect was a mentally ill, he would still need some type of motive, whether real or perceived.

They've interviewed his girlfriend, his brother, associates, acquaintances, relatives, friends and nothing? No social media? No on-line presence? No smart phone information? Nothing political going on? And they've searched everything he owns including the vehicles. And you know they've gone through his medical records thoroughly.

We're told he was a gambler who spent lots of cash gambling and he had several homes and was a former government employee among other things. And I'm sure they've looked at every financial transaction he's ever had by now.

How could someone so angry, and or mentally ill, never have hinted or telegraphed their intentions or position to someone along the way? This took lots of planning, at least weeks, if not months or possibly more. Personally I think the girlfriend would have to know what going on with this guy, at least to some extent.

What are your thoughts regarding a motive?

This was carefully planned and executed over at least a period of weeks. Just the opposite of a spur of the moment thing. The idea that he was in pain from a brain tumor doesn’t hold up, he was very active in doing things during these weeks. There will be some kind of manifesto or testament as to what he intended to accomplish.

I saw the same interview with Col Tony Schaefer that Sarah Barracuda saw - the authorities are pursuing a political motive, but it has not been leaked, only the gun photos have been leaked.

It may have been planned back as far as Election Day - Catherine Herridge reported that he purchased 33 firearms since October 2016.

I want to know who his business associates were - the cartels? Cartel elements infiltrated by radical Islamists?

“And I’m sure they’ve looked at every financial transaction he’s ever had by now. “

May I suggest that you might want to cut back on watching TeeVee - when all disease is cured, crimes solved and the world saved in under an hour.....

With so many dead people - Lawyer are circling like a pack of buzzards - (as is the ‘news’ media) and the bureaucrats want to **make certain** their collective asses are covered.

Having lived in Las Vegas from a number of years, I can assure you cops will be both well thought out and complete in their investigation. If nothing else - because this is bad for the tourism business.

The truth is politically inconvenient to the state. Probably to the deep state, especially.

Too much planning and equipment for some guy who “cracked” one day.

This was serious mass killing.

And if you are doing suicide by cop, why lock the doors?

He wanted to kill lots of those people.

Bad for tourism is an understatement. I would rather book a trip to Puerto Rico, my hearts’ devotion. Let it slip into the ocean.

The hole in the other window was so the actual shooters could escape to the roof using suction cups on their hands and feet.

That's very commendable, but does that thorough, "Completeness" police work you mentioned include leaking/releasing some of the biggest crime scene images/evidence in U.S. history?

My thoughts is a man who went wacko in his old age. I’ve known several who started showing signs of mental aberrations as they got older. Most committed suicide. One even hanged himself in the same barn his dad hanged himself. Same rope.

The taking of so many guns he would never get to use, into the room, and meticulous planing is to me the give away, much like the Aurora Colorado theater shooter.

Time to reopen the mental institutions for such people.

It takes time for a good cover up story...

It was the video that made him angry.

I think there will be a connection to Islam found. Probably through Abu Sayaf in the Phillipines.

Uh oh, maybe more than one shooter. Maybe and maybe it seemed like that in the confusion. I'm not sure we will know soon enough though. And I don't know why the gf didn't notice anything; her lawyer probably told her how to play it.

Sometimes the only motive I can tell is a desire to kill a lot of people. That Bath, MI killer in 1927, he didn't seem to have a motive, just seemed like he was bat $hit crazy. Crazy people can still plan and act.

Or it's deeper and darker. I will try not to jump to wild conclusions.

The terrorists, even though he may not have joined any of them, lone wolf like they call for knowing that some will act on the power of suggestion, could have had a big impact on his thinking, the sensational press, going out with a bang.

But he chose not to kill his gf which he easily could have, supposedly sent her away. The Orlando terrorist didn't kill his wife and son either, nor did the San Bernardino shooter; the latter case being somewhat different in that they acted as a team up to the end.

evil dude was committed to suicide and decided to take out as many others with him as he could. truly an evil thing to do. i’m actually surprised it doesn’t happen that way more often. perhaps most suicides are too sick and/or too depressed to engineer such actions, which is why such evil is rare.

The police said he was casing the life is beautiful festival but couldn’t get the room he wanted so he wasn’t targeting conservatives. Also the people at the festival who thought there was more than one shooter know nothing about how real guns sound with echoes off buildings. Find a vet who has seen combat that was there and thinks there was more than one shooter and I’ll consider it.

He either was just depressed and wanted to go out GTA style or was working as a patsy for someone. False flag so that the casinos can install expensive metal detectors perhaps. That will be happening soon I’m sure.

Who benefits? OSI and Chertoff who own or have stake in metal detector companies. You think someone wouldn’t kill 60-70 people for billion dollar contracts?

The shooter filmed himself for some reason. That’s key I think.

To commit people, they have to have sufficient cause, grounds. He seemed to stay off all radar. Can't count on family as they usually don't want to see anything or if they do, go into denial.
