Nearly 4 days later after the suspect committed one of the biggest mass murders in U.S. history and still no motive? That seems a bit odd considering everthing.
Even if the suspect was a mentally ill, he would still need some type of motive, whether real or perceived.
They've interviewed his girlfriend, his brother, associates, acquaintances, relatives, friends and nothing? No social media? No on-line presence? No smart phone information? Nothing political going on? And they've searched everything he owns including the vehicles. And you know they've gone through his medical records thoroughly.
We're told he was a gambler who spent lots of cash gambling and he had several homes and was a former government employee among other things. And I'm sure they've looked at every financial transaction he's ever had by now.
How could someone so angry, and or mentally ill, never have hinted or telegraphed their intentions or position to someone along the way? This took lots of planning, at least weeks, if not months or possibly more. Personally I think the girlfriend would have to know what going on with this guy, at least to some extent.
What are your thoughts regarding a motive?

I’ve had this feeling that there was a second shooter involved, and that the intention the entire time was to use Paddock as the pawn/scapegoat. That’s quite a bit of gear to be hauling up to the rooms, with quite a bit of planning. Not too mention anything, that I’ve seen at least, in this guys background that he’s had any significant training.

I agree. Usually with these types of crimes, you're dealing with vain people who have posted their manifestos all over their Facebook and Twitter accounts, and friends, co-workers, and family members who come forward with info about their behavior and belief systems leading up to the event. It doesn't take long to put a narrative together.
Here we've got nothing. A foreign girlfriend who was probably subservient and kept in the dark, few if any friends or coworkers, distant family members who barely spoke to him. No social media presence. No voting records.
It's going to take time. Undoubtedly they're ripping his computers apart, trying to piece together a story from someone who didn't care to leave the traditional clues behind.
People expect instant access and look at anything else as part of a conspiracy. That's frustrating.

His name was Charles Whitman.I was there. He snapped after failing an architecture exam. They later found a tumor in the brain but I never bought that. He was not near as planned out as this Trump hater. He just had rifles.
Charles Whitman. Brain tumor. Same thing that made McCain defeat Obamacare repeal.
Same direction though no matter the window. Distance too far to make that second window a factor unless there were more shooters. There were.

We’re watching the latest live news conference and I’m having a real hard time believing the Sheriff and others.
Sheriff: I haven’t been briefed on the FBI interview with the girlfriend. I haven’t been briefed on the suspect’s background.
Feds are pushing local LEO as face to the public to keep a lid on things.

Who gives a crap about his motive. He was purely evil and committed a henious act. In a country of 315 million we will have people like this, and given the constant bombardment of the Democrats and the media of trying to make everyone into a victim (and of course victims have no personal responsibility for their idiotic life choices and their action- it’s always someone else’s fault) the fringe will believe they’re getting revenge on those who wronged them. In reality 99.9% of people’s problems are solely of their own making.
