And because she’s a “star” her cancer is more important than somebody elses. Of course she said she has awesome insurance but some women don’t so we need single payer health care. Um, okee dokee. Burnie payin’?

I abhor her politics, but I wish her well.
And she can't have Gary Fogel's hairpiece. Or George's.

Well, if socialized medicine is so great, let's see if she goes to Canada, England, Cuba, et al., to get her cancer treatments.

She has the cajones to deliver a MARXIST message throughout her personal tragedy. Sounds like her brain may be affected as well. It’s madness, just as was exhibited at the Wellstone funerals.

She is a Multi-Millionaire. She should be self Insured like Rush Limbaugh is so others can benefit with reduced Health Insurance Costs. Isn’t that what Liberals tell us?
I have Cancer too (Leukemia). I have HMO Insurance that costs me $1,987 a Month, up over $1000 a Month since December of 2013 thanks to Obamacare.
I am not a Multi-Millionaire. I am wiping out my IRA paying for my Coverage. Obamacare has cost me about $30,000 (so far) over what I would be paying if Obamacare never existed.

What she and others like her do not understand is that the insurance they support and promote would still leave those lucky enough to get treatment (waiting lists, denial of service), will still be left destitute from the expenses they still have to pay.
Full coverage from the gub'mint (single payer) will limit real healthcare to the connected people and their families. The rest of us will be limited to clinics and antibiotic prescriptions.

The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends, and fantastic insurance through my union, the 56-year-old actress continued. The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so lets fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality.I hope she gets better soon, but boycott Hollywood anyway.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ net worth is $200 million - Sep 19, 2017.
I think she can get whatever medical treatment she wants. She can also help thousands of other people get medical treatment if she wished to do so.

The only line of tripe this article is missing is to quote a feminist proclaiming: “If men could get breast cancer, it would be cured by now”.

1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, Im the one, wrote Louis-DreyfusNot wishing her any ill, but I believe the stats about breast cancer are exaggerated. But it's politically incorrect to say so.
Many women who are "diagnosed" with breast cancer may not actually need aggressive treatment, but end up getting chemo and surgery anyway. Mammograms apparently result in a lot of false positives, and their follow-up biopsies may not differentiate sufficiently.
None of this is the fault of women who believe their doctors when told they need such drastic treatment. It's mostly the fault of an overly-aggressive breast cancer industry.
To: Gamecock
Just an aside, but I remember a medical study that came out maybe 10-15 years ago that stated that women who have had abortions are more susceptible to breast cancer.
Of course this was attacked by the media as false and unproven.
So just wondering if she has had an abortion.
