A photo that has gone viral while circulating among the online military community shows a man at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery, kneeling down on one knee reportedly during the playing of taps, and is sweeping across America, outraging thousands. “Taps” is a bugle call played at dusk, during flag ceremonies, and at military funerals by the United States armed forces and is regularly played at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

I agree now after seeing that picture. This little bastard went out of his way to disrespect soldiers who gave their lives for this country. I hope someone breaks this mother f**kers jaw.

The point is that we have no idea.
While people like this a-hole may be offensive, I don’t equate his being a public disgrace (expressing his free speech) with whats been going on with the professional athletes in the NFL, NBA, and now Baseball and even Hockey. One expects fans to pay for their expressions of rage, while this guy is just a punk, and likely always will be. Probably on a path to prison or a crack overdose.

Well, not every person lived on army bases.
God, this has really gotten out of hand. A large majority of Americans think, “Play ball” is the last line of the anthem. I think going all crazy over a bunch of dopes who cannot articulate their protest is simply a waste of time.
But, if you want to grab some rope and “stretch that nigger’s neck” then I encourage you to simply stop talking and start acting.

Oh my? You did not know that? Based on your comment you seem to be able derive intent from a photo, from the back. I would think you would know where it happened.
Especially, someone who grew up on military bases.

I dunno, I don’t exactly get that message from this picture. It looks more like he is doing what others do, and eventually get yelled out for - failing to stand. He looks to leisurely to be accused of doing it to convey a message. Of course, we would have had to have been there to know for sure.
To my thinking, and I freely admit that I could be wrong, is that if he were protesting 1) His head would be held high and 2) he might have his fist clenched above his head.

I’ve seen clips on youtube of the Tomb guards speaking to the conduct of certain individuals.
Maybe they could include this sort of behavior on the “inappropriate” behavior list.

So far it has been only the Anthem that has been targeted for disrespect.
