A video clip showing a local middle-school teacher getting caught up in a fight between two students has shocked a community in Floyd County, Georgia.

No, you don’t need to ask.
I doubt many people in the community are shocked by this behavior.
I don’t know why anyone would be shocked over this.
She was hitting their hands with her head! Racist!!!!
The initial wording gave me the impression that a teacher beat the hell out of a teenage student.
Indeed.
Black on white beatdown of an older woman - total disrespect for authority. Those ferals need to be permanently expelled. But I guess you can’t do that any more.
I wish I could feel sorry for the teacher but I cant. She must have thought she was safe with the ferals because she was not a racist and she voted for Obama.
At some point the black kids might realize - hey, we BOTH hate the middle-aged white lady, so let’s stop beating each other, and beat on her instead!
my wife left the classroom a few years ago in favor of online teaching. the money is not as good but she is much happier and safer.
Exactly.
I was hoping too.
The President of the United States would describe her (accurately) as a “nasty woman”.
Oops. Wrong thread.
My sister teaches in a black school. There is zero respect for authority and zero repercussion for such disrespect of authority. “Restorative justice” is all the rage in black schools these days. What is it, you ask? Look it up. Basically another feel-good liberal nostrum that does not hold anybody to account for their behavior.

Corrupt politicians love it because it leads to a society that tolerates political corruption.
I thought for sure they were aggressive Methodists or violent Amish fighting.
But no, just the usual suspects.
There is a LOT of money to be made tutoring one-on-one. The kids are sons and daughters of parents who want the kid to excel. You’ll often get Asian kids who are polite to a fault. My daughter tutored a lot of them in bio and algebra and the kids very often didn’t need the tutoring, but the parents simply didn’t want the kids to get lazy or rusty during the summer break. You set your own hours and can charge $75 to $100 per hour depending on where you live. You usually get the kids who want to learn and enjoy learning. Plus, you make a direct impact on the kids without the chaos of a classroom, the micromanagement of the administration, the newest useless educational fad du jour, and hours spent filling out government mandated forms.
