Need a scale in the pictures. The pictures make it look like a behemoth but the fangtoothed snake eel maxes out at about 3 feet long. Is that white straight item next to it a drinking straw or something equivalent in length?

Are you sure you posted to the right thread? There is nothing about Hillary in this story.

Maybe it's an aquatic version of a "graboid."

The last photo shows some shoe prints in the sand at the bottom, right corner.

A.Totally eyeless, so it was probably a bottom feeder.
May have hunted food via sonar.
B. Vestigal fins.
C. A large heavily boned head with a domed forehead. Good for burrowing down.
D. Few predators to worry about.
E. A fast swimmer with a very strong body.
F. Something between a Dolphin and a reptile is one guess.

I am reminded of a short story I read many years ago. It was about a storm, and after there was the body of a GIANT MAN on the beach.
If I remember correctly, no one knew where it came from, what to do with it or how to get rid of it. So a dog food company came and took part of it, soon only a few ribs remained, which some later tourists thought came from a whale.
Found it! THE DROWNED GIANT or SOUVENIR from Playboy.
(See I did buy it to read the articles!;-D)

Decomposition makes for weird sea creatures. We’d be better off with just the skeleton smell wise as well as for identification.
