I ike the mysteries on Masterpiece Mystery on PBS, yes, PBS. All british productions and police procedurals but the lead detectives all different and keep me interested.

Yup,the Brits have done some good drama and police shows.Downton was great...Father Brown is very good.My favorite police show was Inspector George Gently and I've just developed a liking for Endeavour.

Another one I really like is Death In Paradise...the first couple of seasons, that is.

Yes PBS has some watchable shows. One of the local PBS stations runs MHZ, and they run foreign, subtitled mysteries.

Since the shows are selected, they tend to run the better ones. It's nice to be able to recogize some of the actors and actresses in other things. Mads Mikkelsen, Audrey Fleurot, Gregory Fitoussi, Caroline Proust, Len Cariou, and Terrance Hill.

And I just recognized the Stasi grandmother from The Weissensee Saga in Toni Erdmann
