I just checked my beeber. Can someone tell me the appropriate setting for this event. Should it still be set to “stuuned”?

I think I’ll go down and get a good 1 1/2 hr massage and then take a nap.

But there is a definite relationship between the paths of the eclipse and Irma.

Well if anything is left of your house after let the bank have it, or, they may let you have it.

Similar thing happened to a fraternity brother’s brother, except the he culprit was half Lab and half Golden. They’re all sneaky critters.

A couple of days ago my GreAt Dane became the Masked Raider of the Doggie Meds when he ate a,whole bottle of Deramaxx that was intended for the older dog.

My lamp is lit, and I would welcome my Savior’s return at any time. But His time is HIS time, and no speculation about hurricanes or solar flares will produce the information for you.

“Context. The temple was destroyed, as he prophesied, in 70 AD.”

The Olivet discourse was indeed part of the conversation around this prophecy. However, Jesus clearly described events that were not contained only to the timeframe of the 70 AD destruction of the temple.

The disciples had asked three questions in response to Christ’s prophecy about the temple: When shall these things happen? What will be the sign of your coming? And of the end of the world?

Christ connected the destruction of the temple to the escalating persecution of His followers “before all these things.” What things? The things He described in answer to their three questions and connected to His original prophecy.

The temple was destroyed during a time when the Jewish leaders promoted severe persecution of Christians throughout Israel AND the Roman empire.

But most of the Olivet prophecies were NOT fulfilled in 70 AD. There was no abomination of desolation. There were no signs in the heavens. And, of course, most importantly, Christ did not return.

These things are still to come.

So you are saying that Luke 21 is part of the Olivet Discourse?

No communications—everyone on their own locally—no reinforcements. Someone might see this as a fortuitous event to settle a score or two, deal out a bit of justice. Have gun—will travel?

“So you are saying that Luke 21 is part of the Olivet Discourse?”

Says so right in the passage:

Luke 21:37
And in the daytime He was teaching in the temple, but at night He went out and stayed on the mountain called Olivet.

Other accounts of this teaching are found in Matthew 24 and Mark 13. Portions fall outside of these chapters.

The major storms which approach Florida historically follow a similar path as they journey toward the state. This image only depicts prior storms with a track closely resembling Irma's path per Weather Underground.

The moon and sun pass one another close in the sky once a month, regardless whether the two are aligned to cast a shadow upon the Earth. Some try to invoke the alignment as a causal event in triggering earthquakes, when a maximum gravitational tidal tug is exerted.

Are you suggesting the shadow alone affects a hurricane?

Most summer days don’t include earthquake swarms in southern Idaho. 100 and counting, the largest so far 5.3.

I dunno. I’m sitting on the Cascadia subduction zone. 5.3’s are pretty common.

I lived on Bainbridge for ten years, from 1999 to 2009, only remember one quake, a pretty good shake that damaged old buildings in Pioneer Square. No biggie for an old Californio like me. 100+ in a short time in Idaho seems like an anomaly to me...but maybe not.

I was sort of waiting for Mt. Ranier to blow; would have had a front row seat, definitely popcorn-worthy. Now, as close as I am to Yellowstone, I console myself by remembering I’ve had a long, interesting and adventure-filled life. .
