Do you want to tell us why we should click? Like a lot of people I really hate being told to click on a link without some explanation of what I will find there.

I hated that movie. Travis didn’t have a sailboat and did not live in California.

It would be good to see this movie in its entirety. Thanks for posting it.
Is it available, I wonder?

Didn’t Travis McGee use to be a FReeper?
To: Osage Orange
Cool! But how can that guy call himself Travis McGee? Over six minutes of dialog and not a single mention of a train! ;-)

Didnt Travis McGee use to be a FReeper?
Here all this while I thought he'd became one.

Travis McGee is John D MacDonald’s fictional hero. The FR name Travis McGee is Matt Bracken’s, and he too is an author. I grew up reading these novels, Travis was my kind of hero. And so is Matt. And I recommend the Enemies Foreign and Domestic website if you want to learn more.

Here is the full movie “Darker Than Amber” starring Rod Taylor as McGee. No sailboat, it’s as written with the houseboat Busted Flush.
By coincidence, I worked the phrase “darker than amber” into my new novel as a hat tip to John D. MacDonald.
