Chronicles of Amber by Roger Zelazny. I want to see a hellride done with modern CGI.

Dune for sure. Lord of the Rings. The Talisman by Stephen King.

Patrick Rothfuss’s “Kingkiller Chronicles,” a planned trilogy stuck on 2 released books, has apparently already been optioned to television or a movie. I have truly enjoyed the story so far, but I would worry that the show runners would have to resort to making up an ending, like the Game of Thrones writers after George R.R. Martin didn’t produce the final 2 books.

Flynn is probably too kick ass and too anti-Muslim terrorist for the stomachs of liberal TV execs.

There was the short lived BBC series that had the real Marvin.

Holly Lisle’s “Tales from the Longview”. Action, skulduggery, twisty little plot, surprise creepiness, and consistent but not-sledgehammered philosophy. Never gonna happen, but a girl can dream...

Yes please, although the last set of 4 is killing me to get through. Just not the same spark as the first two trilogies.

I’d go with the Liveship books myself, if I were looking for a property to make into a TV series. I like the off-the-beaten path setting and the fact that not all of the characters are suffering angstmuffins. :) Admittedly, the sea serpents might be tough, but that’s why we have CGI.
