The left is on record stating "you never want to let a serious crisis to go to waste," and this recent high-visibility incident is no exception to their rule.
What exactly IS this whole event all about anyway? A single death of a protester? Dozens of people are murdered in Chicago most months, with barely a raise of an eyebrow. Black lives matter so much, I guess. So, this isn't really about a death at the hands of another person, now is it?
For those with brains who are paying attention, and who know the tactics of the left, we know that this is about something entirely different than how the lying media is portraying it.
This is the renewed imposition of PC, writ large. It is the pressure for EVERYONE, including the president, to wear the head-hung-low guilt of "being white." Listen to the narrative if you doubt this. They're not even pretending to hide it anymore.

Funny, folks for all the rants and raves about racism and slavery in the USA...I do not see very many African-Americans camping with the ultra left-wing, hate Amnerica, Democrat low life. Do ya know why? Most African-Americans know that Obama/Clinton/Democrats/CBC/NAACP did zilch for Blacks during the Obama eight years as POTUS. End of story.

I don’t feel guilt about anything. If some bozo cop out in East Podunk acts inappropriately to a black person I had nothing to do with it. Every one I meet personally I treat with respect.

Their goal is to affirm the Antifa/BLM assertion that words, certain words, ARE violence and as such are not protected by the First Amendment AND may be responded to with violence, up to and including beatings, blindings, and killings, all of which fall under the heading of “self-defense”.
And, make no mistake, they have already proclaimed that words as non-controversial as “men and women are different” constitute violence. Richard Spencer’s ideas, and the ideas of his associates, are out of the mainstream but are, without a doubt, political speech as it has always been understood.
If you accept (and it appears that virtually all elected politicians do accept) the proposition that political speech of this nature, even when holding an order from a Federal judge to permit the speech at a given time and place, may be shut down by a violent Leftist mob, then have no doubt that YOU ARE NEXT.
Remember “Bushitler”? Remember the evil Nazi McCain? or Romney? Or Reagan, the next Hitler? I sure do.
If Spencer and his crew are too far Right for your tastes, I get it. But what I don’t get is people here who think that their expression of political ideas in public is, or should be, unprotected by our Constitution and by the police and soldiers who are sworn to uphold it.
Mentally, the hard Left is halfway to Cambodia, 1975 already. They want you dead. Once you accept their proposition that words are violence, and that they get to define which words those are AND who may or may not say them, you have put your own head on the block.
Nope - I no longer have white guilt and will no longer passively stand by to these destructive antics.
You wanna be successful? Work your ass off like the rest of us. That’s not white privilege - that’s called reality.
Since all is fair in love & war, any means available can be used by the defenders of freedom to oppose these hateful efforts.
We presently exist in an information age; language is used as both a strategic and tactical weapon.
The marxist left monopolizes the primary media channels, but do not control the net.
The divisive haters label and mischaracterize, fully cognizant of the effect on the overall body politic.
We, the defenders of western civilization and the institutions which were created to protect the rights of man, must utilize information as a weapon to identify, defeat the enemies of freedom.
In more colloquial terms, they label us, we label them. It's the weapon of choice in today's broad media battlefield. There's a few names sprinkled in the summation above; feel free to ad as needed.
That is quickly changing, as online forum monitors ban public speakers who don't use the "proper" language.
Look at what happened to that ministry on Vimeo whose videos were shut down after they affirmed real marriage. It's happening more and more.
And they HAVE controlled the narrative. The protesters were “white supremicists” “white nationalists” “neonazis” “Klan”
I didn’t follow much on it but I am following the aftermath.
They are hanging a label on ANY white person who speaks out.
And THAT has to stop and stop now.
I am too old to be doing this sh$t but I will do the sh$t that has to be done.

Frankly, this event has made me even madder at the progressive violent Left.
It was never really about confederate monuments. Few people even notice or care about them. It was just an excuse to launch a crusade against whiteness, blame every grievance on racism, and push the march toward socialism. This is just the beginning of more demands, intimidation, and violence by the far Left.
Did you hear about the Berkeley hot dog stand vendor who “resigned” after it was learned that he was affiliated somehow with “white nationalism?” The company insists that he wasn’t fired, but we all know how that works.
The left is finally realizing their century long dream. “White people” is now a pejorative. Any speech by the ‘white people’ not condemning ‘white people’ is hate speech.
Not good for anyone in this country.
