Why can’t she wear U.S. made clothes?
To: MayflowerMadam
Exactly!
This article was conceived in snark, and its eotistical author hoped it would have a long, snarky lifetime.
I’ve often thought that it would be really disappointing to be a woman in public life who had to be ‘on show’ all the time, and ‘couldn’t’ wear things again - at least according to the silly people who assume that my job was to please THEM.
When I buy something that I really love, I want to wear it over and over again. Has nothing to do with economy, but with my love for the art of it.
(I’d love to see Melania wear that dress that she wore to dinner at ‘Le Jules Verne’, again; that was an absolutely splendid design.)

This information is devastating,
It has shaken my confidence in Trump to its foundations.

It appears that Melania chooses her wardrobe to compliment the country she is visiting....both in designers and colors.
The lady knows what she's doing. She's been dressing herself for 30 years.
She's truly a wonderful lady....inside and out. We're very lucky.
And she loves this country with all her heart!!

She wears US made clothing all the time. Italy is the center of Haute couture and she’s a former fashion model. Most modern first ladies have worn Italian and Parisian fashions as a matter of course. Or is she to be held to a different standard than Michelle Obama, Jackie Kennedy, Nancy Reagan or the Bush women?

All these clothes will one day reside in a Museum....OR....perhaps....she will auction some of them at some point and give the money to a children’s organization.

Yes! I understand what you say. There is only one possible recourse.
Trump MUST leave.
There is no foreseeable way to recover from a disgrace such as this!

We need a special prosecutor to look into this. Sessions needs to recuse himself.
