Lawyers for Muslim cop who killed unarmed woman call for autopsy to see if victim was on Ambien
Jihad Watch ^ | Jul 22, 2017 | Robert Spencer

Like so many Muslims before him, it looks as if Mohamed Noor has opted to defend himself by blaming the victim.

According to Drugs.com, “Ambien (zolpidem) is a sedative, also called a hypnotic. Zolpidem affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with sleep problems insomnia). Ambien is used to treat insomnia….Ambien may impair your thinking or reactions….Some people using this medicine have engaged in activity such as driving, eating, walking, making phone calls, or having sex and later having no memory of the activity.”

That Noor’s lawyers would choose this scurrilous course of action is astounding, but not at all surprising.

Would you prefer that the accused had inadequate counsel?

Very easily could have been a double homicide.

“Noor has offered no public comment on the killing.”

No one implicated in a crime should make a ‘public comment’ on the crime they have been accused.

It would be foolish to do so, and it is foolish to expect that he would comment.

Ambien (zolpidem) is a sedative, also called a hypnotic.

So the argument is going to be that he is particularly startled by
drowsy slow moving women in pajamas?

FAIL!

I agree, blame it on someone else is how they intend to defend I guess.

But an autopsy on the cop would require that he be dead..... Oh, wait — never mind.

This reveals the lawyers are desperate.

We have found out that the body cams and the dash cam were off. So, the cops are negligent. And the fellow who pulled the trigger is probably guilty of at least manslaughter. It may even be inadmissible for them to say there was a loud noise or she made a sudden movement or her cell phone looked like a weapon or a nipple poked out of her nightie (which could scare the Mohammed out of any faithful Muslim), because they were supposed to record the scene.

Plus, there was an eye-witness. A passing bicyclist who stopped to observe. We can pretty much conclude that he’s not going to corroborate any made up story of the cops. PLUS, the fact of this eye-witness means the partner of the cop with the itchy trigger finger is going to, quick, turn states evidence in return for dismissal of potential aiding and abetting charges.

This leaves what for the defense? Some kind of smokescreen so the guy can plead to a lesser charge and serve minimal if any jail time.

Either that or the attorneys for the cop are just ringing up billable hours. If they’re public defendants, I figure there could be $1 million in discovery, jury selection, trial, post-conviction sentencing, appeals, etc. etc.

I don't think he's going down at all. Blame the victim is standard ops in a shooting.

It could start with the usual 'failure to signal a lane change' or whatever. Right there you are a law violator.

Then you get 'failure to obey' if you don't immediately reach for your license or you get a 'reaching for' as you reach for your license, which gives the officer an 'in fear of' and Blam! Blam! Blam!... until the mag is empty.

Did she violate sharia? Was her head covered? Maybe he felt obligated to put her to death and didn’t have a stone handy.

My guess, and this is just a pure one-off guess, is that he vapor locked at either a female approaching them and reporting things using colorful language, or that a female was in her pajamas in public.

Perhaps because the DA is still building a case in order to seek an indictment and a premature arrest might hinder the ability to prosecute.

Sounds like wishful thinking to me.

This should be a slam-dunk case for voluntary manslaughter at the very least. It is very possibly an intentional murder in a fit of rage.

Somali Muslims are raised to consider lightly dressed women out alone at night to be an abomination. Killing an infidel woman under these circumstances is fully justified by Sharia law and custom.

I would consider it likely that the DA has been instructed to slow-walk this case until the public fury has lessened and they can safely drop it for "lack of evidence", or unspecified "mitigating circumstances".

I could be wrong about this speculation (and it would not be the first time for such). Perhaps the DA will get the shooter's partner to testify for the prosecution.

Reminds me of an old joke. A lawyer and two clients, a muslim and a hindu are driving through the country on a stormy night when the car breaks down. There’s no cell service but they can see a light in a farmhouse, so they go and knock on the door to see if they have a phone. The farmer tells them he doesn’t have a phone, but he will drive them to town in the morning.

“There’s just one thing, I only have room for two of you, so one has to sleep in the barn”.

The Hindu says he will go, and the farmer gives him a blanket and a flashlight. A few minutes later there’s a knock on the door, and the Hindu says “There is a cow in your barn. It would be sacraligious to sleep under the same roof”.

The Muslim says “I don’t care about cows, I’ll go”. They just get all settled down, when there is a knock again. The Muslim says, “There is a pig in your barn. Pigs are unclean, I can’t sleep there”.

By now the farmer’s getting ticked off, so the lawyer says, “I don’t care what animals you have out there, I’ll go”.

They settle down again, when a few minutes later there’s another knock on the door. Now the farmer is really steaming, he throws open the door and says “What now?”

Standing at the door are the pig and the cow.

Many Americans are strong in their resistance to the importation of Islam but there are some who are the weak links in the chain. Very often it is the women and some women are very convinced that they know more than men so here is a way to open up their eyes. Tell them about the mass sexual assaults on German women during the 2015 New Years Eve celebration in Cologne. I would bet that most Americans have not heard of this.

A group of about 1,000 muslim males started assaulting hundreds of women when it started getting dark. The women had their breasts grabbed and were groped between their legs, some women were also raped. There were few police around and the next day nothing was said about the crimes in the media. It took four days for the media and officials to admit that the assaults happened and this was only because accounts by victims went viral on the internet.

So the people who will automatically make excuses such as *There are a few bad apples in every bunch, most Muslims are good people*, will have trouble using this common excuse because there were not a few bad apples—there were a THOUSAND!

The Cologne sexual assaults should make everyone but especially women think about this because it is in a civilized European city where many Americans travel on business and on vacation. It is a place where you expect to walk around, see the sights, visit the beautiful medieval cathedral and have some pleasant memories to take home. It is not a place where you expect to be assaulted by people who think they are still in the dark ages.

Another thing, the murder of the woman in Minneapolis is almost like a parody of a trendy, politically correct to the nth degree SJW mayor getting hit in the face with a pie. This foolish, virtue signaling woman mayor is just so proud of herself because she is doing everything by the book—the Social Justice Warrior book. Even a mixed racial group of very angry and VERY LOUD protesters showed up to shout her down and drive her out of the room. It was hilarious. Somewhere there is an angel have a good laugh. Are angels allowed to play pranks sometimes? :^)
