A 35-year-old man from Mecklenburg County, North Carolina has reportedly spotted a "dinosaur-like, creature in a man-made lake.
The man, who wished to remain anonymous, reported his findings to CryptoZoology.com, a website that reports on strange occurences.
“I was on a boat with my friends,” the man told the website. “We where near the lakes main channel when we saw something splashing around in the water.”
While boating on the man-made Lake Norman, the man, along with several of his friends spotted the creature, describing it as “splashing around in the water." He noted it was around 10-feet-long and reminded him of the mythical Loch Ness monster. No photos were taken of the creature as it was only visible for approximately one minute until it went below the surface.
CryptoZoology says its articles are "based on witnesses accounts, original videos, pictures and subsequent interviews carried out by Cryptozoology News."

I saw some film years ago which was authentic and it really did look like “Nessie”.
Unfortunately, closer study proved it was a seal.

Also rhwew is a lake in NC named Lake James? I wonder what his first name was.
I suspect there really was a Loch Ness Monster but it probably died out 1000 or so years ago.
That photo is not from Lake Norman, the tree species are all wrong.
There was a kid in Jr High with the unfortunate name Richard Small. When the teacher took attendance she called last names first! Yet the kid preferred to be called by the nickname version, so that was how she called it: “Small, D...”
I know there are gators in the Tennessee River around Decatur AL. That river will freeze in the winter. They hang around the power plants when it starts getting cold.
